Have ordered two new keys and neither will calibrate....
Any ideas what the issue could be ? I have one working key and have changed batteries in both, but still no joy. Have checked fuses and they are ok as well.
I don’t understand how one key can work and calibrate but the other will not....
Any advice or ideas welcome thank you

Did you get your keys from a main dealer, if so did you choose not to let them code the keys?

Hello there, thank you for replying. I took the car to a garage who specialises in Audi, they ordered a key for me from Audi ...
The new key still wouldn’t work....
So I have one working key and one which doesn’t new batteries have replaced , I just don’t understand how one key will programme but the other won’t it doesn’t make any sense ?
Any further advice welcome the garage said I need to have the dash board completely taken off ....
Just stumped !!

Personally I would take the key to Audi and let them code it the car, if they cant do it and agree it is faulty then they should replace the key free of charge since they sourced it.
Make sure you have the key receipt.
Coding will cost you 30 to 50 quid but you wont have to have your dash removed, I have no idea why that would have to be done?
I recently got a new key fob £350 including coding, not cheap but I didnt pay for it .

Thank you, so even though I went to an Audi specialist (not Audi garage ) and they ordered me a new key you think an actual Audi garage would be best?
I’ll check for where my nearest one is but you might be right going to them directly I started out ordering a new key from Timpsons and replacing batteries etc and then progressed to a garage from there.....
I’m ok as one works but if that goes I’m truly stuck as it’s hard to disarm the alarm doing it manually! Many thanks for your time and advice I appreciate it
