OEM Smoked rears

you need a flat head screwdriver you will see a slot on the black plastic trim on the side, you insert it in there and twist it should lift up once that trim comes off its 2 torx screws IIRC
Got it thanks, was going at it from the wrong angle before, all fitted now and look so much better than the originals. Lucky I grabbed a bargain set at £120 from Sytner on eBay :tearsofjoy:

Defo bargain
Np what colour is your car be sure to post up some pictures

For the life of me I can’t seem to get these plastic trim bits removed to get the outer lights removed, I’m worried about snapping any clips or damaging the paint with any trim tools. Any ideas or instructions guys :whistle2:
I'm struggling with this exact bit right now. Feels like this black plastic trim is going to break.

Saw the slot at the top so got the top bit out but not sure how tou get the rest off

Get it from the side closest to the boot aperture. Just give it a waggle. It’ll come loose long before it breaks.

S Lenses

Not the best pic but shows that after a lot of fiddling (i have little patience!) I got them on and am very happy with the look.

Cheers to Bells and Evil Derboy for the tips.

I can’t find these at all on eBay for around £300 now. Prices have all gone to £500+

Scrap that. I’ve just found someone selling for £260. So I've ordered.

What have you searched to find them? Whenever I look all I can find is people selling single portions of the lights rather than the sets

So outsides fitted but how did you access and undo the three bolts on the inner set on the bootlid? Did you have a deep socket head that fitted over the end of the Torx screw onto the bolt? Or did you have a female torx socket?

TIA for guidance!

I had a slim adjustable spanner that I used to get then loose then used my fingers.
My father had a torx fitting but that was a red herring. Turns out my 10mm socket was deep enough to extract the nut. First time I went for a 12mm and it was just spinning but i thought that it was too short. Anyway all safely installed even after having to recover one screw and one nut that fell inside the car - to recover a magnet was deploy on a piece of string and the other hand up inside the bumper!
