Was planning to do the paint correction and chips today but family stuff came first. Going to be a couple of weeks before I'll have enough spare time.

Very frustrating.

Cleaned the caravan today

The roof took a VP CPW, then 2 snow foams & then some "Elbow Grease' APC to clean. What a right **** of a job TBH
Each step was left to dwell for around 10mins before having a crack at it with a caravan specific soft yellow nylon brush
What a right ******** carry on. Looks like I may be purchasing a full cover for it when not being used

Had a close inspection of both wheels & they're suffering badly from lacquer peel. So going to get them both refurbed in the winter months
Which idiot at Swift decided to put diamond cut alloys on a caravan ***

& before anyone asks there is no pic's. 'Twas the last thing on my mind when I'd finished lol

Relaxing with a couple of bottles of Sol as we speak :thumbs up:

So l spent a lot of time on the interior of my car yesterday, glass cleaning, switches, leather etc etc but also washed it...prewash, tar removal and korrosol along the sides of the car...then applied some Wet coat....l also washed the mrs car...prewash korrosol...but also applied korrosol on the bonnet of her car to try and remove bug scarring..anyways after all of that l applied wet coat to her car, after a towel dry l still noticed some bug scars remained,so l thought detail spray to finish it off and remove the bug scarring, it did...used the Menzerna endless shine, very grabby..indeed but left a very high gloss finish..for a detailing spray that is...but no where near the likes of fusion wax...so it rained late evening.....WTF...Dreadful beading from this product and l mean almost non existent...l thought surely a bottle from a bad batch...even worse l applied endless shine to my entire car....flat as a pancake...guff
@jassyo06 - I / we keep telling you my wee scotch friend you defo need BSD in your life ;):D
PS Haven't got the mojo with car detailing to do that sort of work on my cars at the mo. Hats off to you mate :hi:

Sun stopped me yesterday, however saw my opportunity and finished off today

Fallout remover (BH) - great stuff
Tar remover (AMDetails)
Clay Bar (AMDetails)
Polish (AF Triple)
Waxed (AG UHD)

Pretty pleased with the results. About 4 hours of work. Need a more aggressive polish as there are a number of scratches behind the door handle from jewellery that need cutting back.

Very nice work here! Looking good..

Need to give mine some cleaning attention, weather and lack of mojo at the minute.

Which SF did you use here @jassyo06 as it appears to have removed everything and brought back the beading or should I say previous coating ... I have experienced this with Done & Dusted, paint feels really slick afterwards but there is no hydrophobicity. It only returns after you SF it.

Feel for you @Bristle Hound. I have only done a friend's Q7 once and every tissue in my body was aching afterwards. And I just decon'd & washed it - no machine polish. I bet you'd be the same. Hats off to the herculean effort mate

S5 looking fab @Adam14. Hate these jewelry and thesm effing pointed ladies shoes with all sorts of nail-like things attached to them in the name of fashion and fock. The inner plastic liner on the A3 needs some restoration and might try a combination of Megs PlastRx and Nanolex Trim Rejuvenator that @jassyo06 recommended earlier.

Cheers chaps, was absolutely knackered. May give the inside some love after work today.
I'm away with work for the next 6-8 weeks so I know there'll not be a chance to clean her hence the push to get some sort of protection on there.

I made a similar post earlier up mate, Jassy recommended some trim restorer although online I've seen many recommend some APC and a magic eraser. Was going to have a go with the latter today or tomorrow.

+1 to APC and a good quality trim restorer

I've tried Surfex HD but it didn't remove the scratches/marks. I know @jassyo06 recommended Nanolex but was wondering if either someone had tried it or if there was an alternative.

Cheers @jassyo06. Apparently, she doesn't know who did this. Off course, kids are responsible for the rear ones but she ain't got no clue about the front . And off course it won't be her as she doesn't move her seat right next to the windscreen

Not today but yesterday - this picture upload is getting a bit monotonous isn't it. We need to spice things up a bit here .

Outside followed typical wash routine but inside needed much tlc after our trip to Bournemouth on Saturday. It appeared half of Beach sand managed to get in to the car so, gave the inside a deep cleanse with Sonax interior cleaner.

Had a window of opportunity to to clean the car today. Just time to add a layer of mother's wax to bonnet only.

And then rain came in later and dampened my cleaning mojo again! Lol

When i had the black S3 I used a DA with ultimate compound to do this:

I also found Poorboys black hole good as well: https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/new-da-poorboys-black-hole-g3-wax.250687/

So I got fed up with looking at dear daughters filthy Alhambra (to be fair she’s got 3 under 5 to worry about lol) and gave it a 2 hour makeover. Don’t have a DA yet so all by hand. Pretty pleased although some of that “Black Hole” stuff would have been good !!
