Show Us Your Beading Shots

Well I planned on taking some beading shots of JCW, only to discover passenger window had been left open ALL NIGHT!

So instead of external beading shots, how about internal and a lake behind passenger seat?

Glad I protected the seats and carpets with Fabric Coat.

And yes, this is a pool of water in the rear footwell!

You just can't get the staff, I guess it's because the days are so hot, but then why do we have climate in cars? Some, it seems never learn...

Funny thing is windows are rarely open what with weather and air con as you say. I do find it odd that it wouldn’t auto close after x especially as car is locked. And yes, if the wife held down the lock button the window would have closed.

I need to go “gentler” as already had her in tears...Oops.

Spent F****** 5 hours on it on Saturday ***!!

Washed on Sunday and and a quick go over with a BSD/Maguires mix :)

Oh no! So easily done. At least it’s gonna be mental hot on Saturday so get all the doors open and hopefully the heat will bake it dry again.

Mate of mine picked up a brand new Passat saloon last week and 3 days into ownership sat on his keys in the evening and popped the boot lid fully open. Didn’t notice until the next morning and of course it rained stair rods all night - he literally had to bail out the boot well under the tray. I lent him our carpet cleaner - with a hand attachment for sucking moisture out of carpets, did a good job of getting the worst out. Know anyone with one of those mate?

Don’t be too hard on ‘er indoors - I’m sure she feels bad enough already + you’re bound to drop a b01102k at some point yourself mate if you’re anything like me!

All sorted mate, used the dogs blower to lift remaining water to surface and then wiped. Some bicarbonate of soda in a bowl to suck up moisture and windows left slightly open today in the sun. No sign of smell yet, so hopefully it will be ok.

I know what you mean, but I am always in the sh1t anyway

I do like how a wax beads over any other product....you can tell straight away the difference...it sheets water rather than holding on to it... like ceramics and other siloxane products do...Fusion wax sheets water

Mate , at £85 I should think it does sheet water . Maybe one day I'll justify the cost though right now the Syncro is sounding tempting ,

£49 for the Pure kit which includes applicator and cloths as well as a bottle of Cure. I am sure nowhere near as good as synchro, but without a garage, I would want to go with one coat

I've not used the Gyeon Wet Coat but have used the Megs QD , very good stuff. Never realised it beads that well though .

Found using the shampoo along side it works well. Used to use auto plan, but they changed the recipe and it refused to foam. Get a very different water finish when rinsing if that makes sense. Seems to shed water better.

And the S4, after a long time I am finally happy with how it beads now. Washed, applied Hydro2 and then topped up with Cure.
