Seems pretty strong on the money front and I wondered if they've discovered the problem with the gearbox yet?

Given it a good clean and a (poor) refurb on the wheels by the looks of it.

Anyone who puts it in reverse will know! It's done 300 miles since I part ex'd it on the 21st of May so they may have even sorted it by now.

I notice they've removed the supercharged badge from the boot on mine, but not the rubber carbon effect front splitter. Probable because, like me, they realised it will pull the black paint off of the front bumper!

When I was looking around for a B8 S4 back in 2013, a few were advertised as having the spare wheel mounted on the bonnet or the rear door, as you might imagine, they were being sold from a Land Rover dealership! I can't say that I've noticed anyone carrying out that mod in real life, might have to raise the front seats up fully?

What was the gearbox issue ?

Suspect it was the clutch pack as reverse was awful.

The day I dropped it off I went to reverse into a space and there was a kind of clunk and it felt like it jumped out of gear. Was getting progressively worse over time.

My drive is a little steep and (not every time) you'd go to reverse up and the revs would rise and it would go nowhere. That's why I had the box serviced with the annual service, but it didn't fix it.

Decided it was time to a change.

Jesus that's some strong money for a B8. I got my 2012 B8.5 with 55k on the clock for 18k

Must have sold as not on their website anymore and showing as taxed in June.

Hope they sorted the gearbox issue!
