Damn those things are fast for such a big lump. From 50 to 100 (kms, officer) he was actually pulling away from me a little bit.

Not entirely sure. It had some small writing on the back right which I couldnt read, 2 huge triangular shaped exhaust pipes and I could hear his exhaust over mine

looking at images of those it could have been. 542bhp lols. that would explain it

Is your car stock? If so, you know what to do ;)

haha as if I need any more encouragement! Its not quite stock, but nothing that really makes it much faster (revo intercooler and pipercross panel filter). Warranty runs out the end of this month so will be going for a JB4 and turbo inlet upgrade.

no, he probably had the jump on me but even so did pull away a little bit. matches the figure

First corner and I expect you to be flying away while they tried not to roll over. Never understood the need for that much power in an suv. Braking and cornering will still be the biggest issue for these monster trucks.

true, but then I doubt he would be taking off from the undulations in the quality fenland roads like my s3 does

Had an idiot in an SVR up my backside a month or so ago and they are quick and had to put it into Sport+ before I could start pulling away to a safe distance to move over to the left and slow down a little so that he could go past.

TBH are far nicer cars I would spend £100 - 120K on

P.S did think about braking hard and watch him catapult over the top of me as they cant stop any where as quick as they should be able to for that much power

Turn the fog lights on. Gives them the impression you are on the brakes.
Problem with these kind of cars whether they are svr or over finch the idiot behind the wheel feels like they are king of the roads especially after spending £100k+ and we are just the morons in their way.

Unfortunately on this occasion he was so close and being so high up (and me so low) I doubt he would have seen them

When this happens, rightly or wrongly and traffic permitting, I tend to coast and then pull in behind whatever I am currently next to so they can get past. I have absolutely no problem getting out the way for someone who wants to give me the chance to do so!

Always be the second fastest on the road, that way they'll be the ones who get pinched!

Think I figured out why there’s a need for 500+bhp in a suv like the svr, urus, bentayga etc.
Was speaking to a mates dad who is fairly well off and he told me this.
When you make it and have money normally you eat well and generally a bit chunky midriff. This creates a problem if you buy a sports car and getting in and out is an issue so they get these monster trucks instead. Got the performance of a Porsche off the line but the comfort of a large suv. I’m not exactly slim and I can remember getting in and out of my mates exige, it was not pretty or dignified in any way  so maybe in a few years I will be one of these guys in 500+bhp monster trucks:wink:

They would also cope a lot better with terrible roads and ridiculous speed bumps, certainly the ones we have around here. Id never get my S3 lowered for exactly that reason, even though it would look pretty damn smart.

Never understood the logic.... If you want a range rover then buy a range rover..... Why get a big spacious car that's had all the headroom chopped out like the range rover sport..... Defeats the object in my opinion.. Plus they look like cartoon cars.... Absolutely horrendous............ Just my opinion of course..... Lol
