Audi S3 8P Modifications

Hi all,


i imagine this has been covered plenty of times just wanted to get a couple of suggestions,


i have a 2011 Ibis White S3 with a CAI and a res delete, looking for more modifications, have stage 1 planned next year along with a sachs clutch kit and need suggestions on a good flywheel for stage 1 roughly capable of at least 420 lbft.

But looking for some mods to do in between, any popular mods or must haves for this model? also looking for aesthetic mods.

Lots of info on here but most folks prefer the Helix organic with the standard LUK dual mass flywheel.

Auto Folding mirrors , Q3 climate control upgrade, honeycombed front grille, ashtray delete, cig lighter Flap , to name a view mods and all instructions can be found on here . Worth having a look in the Sticky's which have heaps n heaps off info even things you can do if you have a genuine Vcd's cable or maybe even ask someone nearby you ( check vcd's map ) to do for you and a few beer tokens go a long way

Mind for a St1 you won't need a new clutch , have s look at some off the build threads where you will get heaps off good info and check out member @samuelh_888 build as it is documented with most part numbers you need for upgrades like others on here are ,

what is cig lighter flap? Or more specifically a link for it... The metal part of the cig lighter in mine is minorly corroded and its the part that's visible, so if I could get rid that would be ideal

Anti roll bars are the next biggest improvement after a stage 1 remap.

A Helix clutch would hold the torque of a custom tune stage 2+.
As mentioned, not needed for stage 1 but if you plan on going higher later it could be a good option to fit once and forget about it.

Does the anti lift kits (available from superpro, whiteline etc) have as positive an impact on the S3 as they do the mk5 golf gti?

Fitted a superpro kit to my mrs golf 5 gti, along with new OEM drop links and ball joints transformed the handling of the car
