On my SB S3. I have 19s 235/35/19 and think the front would benefit from 10- 15mm ish drop to suit the rear. What do you guys think? I’m quite happy with the rear.

Bad idea unless you can get lowered front springs which match the current spring rates.

AFAIK aftermarket ones will be stiffer than the factory ones.

Go for the Eibach Pro-Kit loweres the front a fair bit more than the rear. After lowering my car has the same gap both front and rear.

Eibach pro is 10mm all round. Eibach sportline is 20-25mm all round. I've got sportline and it's a good height but not too low. Could go at least another inch lower. Ride is definitely harder but not uncomfortable at all.

Thanks, really interested in Pro kit reviews on harshness, I don't expect it to change much over 10mm but that's assuming the quality is good.

I've just gone for the pro kit for my Sportback /18s without magride. Idk if I'll regret not going for sportline as the drop is . Well... 1cm.. But I was going back and forth every other second between the two so I opted for safer option.

I'm not really expecting much difference if any on harshness.. People rate eibach so highly and considering its only 10mm..well yeah.
I guess with 19s it might be a bit worse but sure it will be fine.

Thanks Oli are you disappointed with the drop? is the quoted 10mm accurate with real life experience? have you fitted them yet?

From the same day with Eibach Pro-Kit, the springs may have dropped a few more millimeters the following days.

The bottom 19" wheels are 10mm bigger than the 18" which means they're 5mm closer to the arch. But it's still a little lower in the rear and as mentioned a fair bit lower in the front. This is with magride.

Thanks Lehn, would it be fair to say that the fronts lower by more than 10mm? or the rear is less than 10mm? one of the 2 scenarios must be true to level the car off so well. Does Magride have any effect on height?

I would say it's a 15mm drop in the front and 5mm in the rear. Magride sits 5mm higher in all corners than the normal sport springs :)

I thought the same and this is Eibach sportline the rear went down like 4mm then the front 18mm it now sits the same front and rear

Well that’s what I got and let it settle for a month and 1200 miles. Feels amazing comfort wise like stock.

Only ordered on Monday so yet to receive and get them fit.

Keep us posted as I’m looking at the Eibach pro as well with a white line ARB. Would like the matched bilstein kit but can’t justify it as I don’t foresee me tracking the s3 just yet so just making small tweaks here and there.
Mate with a focus rs said it was night and day for him getting the pros. The standard ford setup was really hard and trashy and the pros was more comfortable but still kept the sporty feel.
Could be different on the s3 though.

Hey Lehn. Would non magride sit slightly lower with the pro kit then?

Thanks Mate, Do you have any side pics with the springs settled? I think you have the same size wheel setup as me. My concern is that I have just ordered pros but my original springs may have settled leaving me with almost no difference once I change to the eibachs. it would be good to see the pro's with 235/35/19.

The springs almost didn't settle at all. My front dropped 15mm and rear 5mm, I measured this when I recalibrated the magride.

The best I can do right now is this (just random pictures from my phone):
