USB ports part numbers retrofit

Does anyone know if you can add the following dual USB module into a prefacelift A3? i dont necessary need them to be hooked up to the cars MMI for audi, mainly just for charging.

part number would be great and any advice

I’m pretty sure the answer is yes, and there was a thread on here (which includes part numbers) a little while ago.
I think it also included fitting instructions.

what have you fitted already? in the picture you have, the port is deeper than the standard AMI port socket so you would need to change the armrest box too for it to fit. The wiring is different to the port too.

Thanks for the link Richard, I’m trying to retrofit the usb hub that sits inside the armrest for smartphone connection. I’ve got the wiring loom required but can’t work out where two of the wires go, of course there were no fitting instructions

there are 2 wires that need to go to 12v and earth. I forget the colours/pin numbers off hand. I just tapped them into the power supply for the MMI2 in the glovebox.
