I dropped the car off at Turner race developments for my new Sachs clutch, Wagner intercooler, APR dogbone and Eibach Sportline springs and a Stage 1 remap. Cant wait to get it back.
Well, it's 1 mm only Not much to see any change.I've just illustrated it below with a 19" rim in mind. So only around 1mm.

Oooh - me like! Had a look on the website but couldn't see what the finish is - are they painted/powder coated - i.e. good as a winter option? I'm planning to avoid having the diamond-cuts on over winter !Ordered a set of these today, plus a set of Continental Premium Contact 6. Should arrive by the end of the month. Can't wait to get them on the A3

Will give the google map thing a try tomorrow. Might be an android thing though. I’m an Apple user.i think its because i've the satellite view activated on my android auto app on my phone? When i select maps it brings up the satellite view using the android auto menu on the MMI.
Only issue remaining is i cant get ambient light menu to appear. I had it working on my old SD MMI1 but despite activating all the options DJAlex posted it doesnt appear but my footwell lights do still work.

There’s hundreds of lighting adaptations now in 09 module which will need done before the 5f. The way it’s done is different in the newer cars than my other Audi’s.
I’ve definitely seen it somewhere as it took me a while to code the lights to flash to acknowledge I’ve remotely closed the windows. Will have a dig around and see what I can find.
I never read that anyone had done it before and I had to act on my own risk and accept a possible failure, but it turned up well at the end.
So guys, I wanna to share some stuff I did to my a3 sedan. I didn't do it "today", but I had no time to make a proper post for all those interior mods So I decided to make one finally
First thing I that was really driving me crazy is a grey roof lining. My car comes with this nice two tone cognac/black interior and it just doesn't look nicely with grey roof lining. So I bought a black roof lining from Poland and replaced it. It took a while to remove a central tunel in order to pull out a roof lining through the front door, but it is possible to do without removing a windshield >
Now I finally got the interior, that I really love )
The second thing that was driving me crazy is the absence of a storage box under a driver's seat. I had to boxes in my 8P, so I started to search for the solution. Dealer told me that A3 doesn't comes with a drivers storage box at all. But I found out that Audi A4 B8 storage box fits in 8v bolt on >
Part numbers for this mod - 8K0882601B4PK (box itself), N90737105 (2x bolts) and N90088003 (2x metal brackets)
Now my car has some nice extra storage I was missing
The next thing I wanted to improve in my car was this annoying start/stop. I coded a car first so it was permanently off, but then I decided to make it a better way. I found a start/stop memory module from audiamant. My electrician installed this for me and now I can permanently disable it or enable with a stock button. It just remembers the last stored position of the button. I usually turn it on when I go to dealer, cuz they said that disabling of it by codding will influence on my warranty for some reason
The next thing that was annoying me was a phone placement. My car comes with audi phone box with wireless charging and virtual cockpit for navigation. But I still prefer Waze since it has more info on police hideouts and speed cameras. That's why I wanted to see my phone during the driving. First I used a OEM-mounts with nilkin wireless charger. But I didnt liked how it covers a button panel and a wire hanging around. So I found my personal solution - brodit clip + Scosche magic mount magnetic QI charger. I had to use dremmel to make them fit together, but Im totally pleased with the result now I use VC for navi, and a waze for voice assistance and police and cameras info
cable is hidden under a dash
Now phone is wireless charging and mounted by a strong magnet while driving.
I did some more stuff. But I will share it later )

Not sure where you are but my UK car has the storage box under the seat so it does exist for 8v.
Love the holder for your vape as well

I'm from Czech Republic. I was searching all over the web, but havent seen those boxes under both seats anywhere. Even asked friend of mine in UK if they have this box under a passenger's side with RHD cars. And he told me, that in UK the box is under a driver's seat but missing under a passenger seat. The same was all over Europe. ETKA never shown a box under a left seat. Only under a right seat even for RHD cars. But A4 box fits perfectly with no mods
Maybe it’s to make space for the b&o amp
That second photo is ace, assume you had someone driving alongside? Not today but last Friday had RacingLine springs fitted. Sits much better and feels so much more planted.

Is that one little blue light all police cars can have??
What happens if you get 3 points? No there's a lot more on it. It was just that one that light up when I took the picture. But it was a civilian car, which is why I didn't recognised it in time...
It was an A4 3.0 TDI 245hp.
Aha thought it looked very discrete! I've had "wannabe" police (ie, idiot civilians trying to trick you) with more lights than shown in that pic haha.No there's a lot more on it. Ouch...not that similar to the UK then. UK is a lot more lenient, you need to pass theory and practical test here but theres no limit (apart from passing practical within 2 months of passing theory). I believe.Conditional suspension of your license. Then you get 6 months to pass a new theoretical test and practical test (and if you don't pass any of the tests in first try they'll take your license until you pass both). Afterwards you got your license on trial for 3 years, meaning you only have 2 points and if you get what would normally be a conditional suspension in this period you will now be banned from driving in 6 months.
Should I mention I've had a conditional suspension in the past......
We have the same interior. The color combination is Soul / Lasso Brown. The gear knob you want has the part number of 8V1713139GSNI where the "SNI" indicates the lasso brown stitching. When I bought the interior, the seller had a set of a steering wheel and a shifter with the stitching from the same car, so I offered him 300 zl. for a shifter without the steering wheel (the steering wheel was from a PFL car). The seller agreed, so I got the thing. And here's a good thing: I checked out this seller and he has another set of the same steering wheel and the shifter for sale here: https://allegro.pl/oferta/audi-a3-8v-kierownica-galka-8v0419091b-sni-7929679648 Ask him, may be he would agree to sell you the shifter only (note: he speaks Polish, so use google translate to write a message in Polish. That's how I trade on Allegro.)Dude............ Do you have a part number for this leather Shift boot with orange/cognac stitching? I have almost the same interior with all those stitching from a factory, but gear knob stitching is black for some reason. I want to replace it but I can't find a proper part number to order it :/ Ive been searching for it everywhere and even thought they don't exist, but now when I see that I can't resist to ask

get yourself a defender, no chance speeding in them!I pushed the pedal a little too close to the metal...
Got one point in my license (we're only allowed to get 3 here in Denmark) and a £289 fine.
At least I was stopped by an Audi and not a Beemer or Merc.
