EBC Redstuff Front Brake Pads for Audi RS3 8V 2016

Guys,
I would really appreciate some New additional information on Low-Dust-Street-Pads for Front & Rear 2019 RS3.
I feel sure the 2017, 2018 and 2019 are more than likely the same (Aftermarket) pads.
One of these up-coming months, I-Hope, my ordered 2019 RS3 will arrive with the Stock-Brakes, Not Ceramic Brakes.
So, guys, surely some of you will know this next question ???
Do the Front Brakes Produce an Over-Abundance of the Dreaded-Black-Brake-Dust that's a Major PAIN to remove ???
The above ^^^ is why I am asking about the After-Market-Brake-Pads for the Street, Not-Tracking and or Racing.
Thanks for the help as I am new to the RS3 so a real Dumb-*** to it's brakes and especially the After-Market-Brakes for it.
If you have the information I'm asking about Please, Please post a specific link/links to the Manufactures as well as any Helpful Reviews.

Hi terry, I swapped out the oem Audi pads on my 2015 rs3 for ebc red stuffs.
What I noticed is the dreaded brake squeal went instantly even after having these on now for 24k miles.
Followed the braking in procedure and all is good. The dust on these pads is very low but as I have a ceramic coating on my wheels there a joy to clean anyway.
They now have the Audi vw oem plug wear sensors fitted so no more cutting and soldering the old one off the oem pads.
Braking wise I find them extremely good for spirited driving to pottering around town especially if I’m in London working.
However I have heard from other users that they don’t make a great track pad.

Personally I’m not a fan of the red stuff, the braking seems to sound funny like there not actually gripping (biting in) and just apply pressure to the discs. When braking you can here a noise which is hard to explain but like above the disc is just moving through pads with no bite. The discs are also like a mirror finish with no roughness to them which again doesn’t seam right.
I mean they work, but I wouldn’t fit them again and looking to probably take off early and go with something else.
To note these are on the old style wavy discs.

Rubbish after a few thousand miles and as you say all they do is shine up the discs to a mirror finish.
I know a good few 8V owners who tried them and then binned them, one owner was at MRC on a mapping test drive and after the first high speed run, Doug told him to take the car back to their unit as he deemed them as ****** dangerous, MRC had some Ferodo premier pads which they fitted and he had no issues with those.
Another owner fitted them to his standard car and experienced the braking all but disappear after some spirited driving on country roads.
I junked the lot and opted for aftermarket as it’s sooooo much better.
Those look the same as a mutual 8p owner we both know mate, if they are I can confirm they are very good indeed having drove is stage 2 8p rs3. Pull the skin right off your face under good hard brakingI tried them on the 8P when I had it

Are these the Revo Alcon discs with Ferrado pads?
That’s what I think I’m going to go for after reading the forums cost a 1k but hopefully can tick the brake box after. I’m getting swaying anyway at the moment under breaking so think the wavy ones are shot

I’ve actually moved onto Delphi pads front and rear.
Silence and no braking issues since the change.
Was going to go Revo Alcon but when I originally enquired with Revo HQ they wouldn’t sell them for a FL because they had an issue with a guy in Dubai who tried fitting them to his FL and couldn’t because they were 3mm off centre when mounted.
Reyland fitted with no issues.

Terry - as you are in the States, you have access to AKEBONO pads. They are a ceramic pad, noted for their dust free properties, that is made in the States that I used to import when I was driving Mercedes. They were super for low dust road performance. I have quickly looked but cannot see they make a pad for the RS3, but I am sure they do. Make some enquiries and maybe let me know as I would not mind importing a set to try.
I never could find out why Akebono never set up a distribution in the UK despite they have an on-site factory at McLaren and produce the friction material for the McLaren F1 cars!

It looks like they Do-not have brake-pads for the Audi RS3 see below.

I will have a look later as they may well make pads for other cars that use the same Brembo calipers.
You are in the country that has a higher demand for low dust brakes, so I advise that you have a word with the likes of Brakewarehouse for recommendations. Although Akebono seemed to have the best satisfaction in the Mercedes community, quite a few others were rated as well - ceramics from the likes of Centric and Hawk if I remember were high on the list.
