Just done a journey with childseats in the back and no bums in them and the car assumed that there was a person in the backseat not belted up and proceeded to warn me of such for a good 4 minutes.... Never an issue in C7 and this will do my nut in if it is constant. Childseats are isofix but no sensor in car to identify them as such... Any ideas, fault or 'characteristic'?

Sounds like normal to me, obviously the sensors have detected a weight on them and no seat let engaged...

I've noticed the sensors in the rear are very sensitive. Putting some shopping on the seat activated one on one occasion, but several times with the kids in the back, if they lean on the middle seat in any way, that also activates the seat belt warning. I thought it was a little too sensitive on the grounds that in my previous A4 it was perfect, detecting a young child, but not going off unnecessarily.
Yep looks like it is much more sensitive than before. I've already trained my kids to click the seatbelt back on every time they get out of the car so problem solved..!
Yup I can see similar in mine, if a bag is put down on seat next to rear passenger the light comes up warning. Mine seem to go off pretty fast, but still it is a pain them being sensitive to a kg of weight.
