Angelwax Revelation cleanse, Clayed, Menzerna 3800, then a coat of Done & Dusted Si

Found all products very easy to use, no bad feedback on any of them.

First look of the sonax profiline polish in the sunshine. Very happy with the shine.

Looks totally different from yesterday's cloudy shot after it's spring clean.

Oh good, it’s pollen season then. Love it when you spend hours detailing your car, then a couple of days later, when it hasn’t even rained, you have half an inch of environmental fall-out on your bonnet...

Cheers, and you’re not wrong on the orange peel. Not going to be able to improve that without a DA. Maybe next year - the paint is good other than the orange peel. The S3’s paint quality is much better I have to say.

Got all the house DIY jobs done over winter, and told the missus she’s on her own with the garden this year, so yep, plenty of time for detailing this summer :yahoo:

Got to say, that shine is sublime. In the market for some new QD as it happens . . . .

Mate, it is SO easy to apply and don’t need to use much. Spray, wipe leave to cure for 10/15 mins, and then buff off with clean MF, but to be fair, it self glosses so not much wiping at all

Thought you’d been a bit quiet this weekend - obviously been busy! Great results! Might have to try the leave it to cure for a bit approach myself next time, just wiped on wiped off when I used it for the first time, so maybe I haven’t got the best out of it yet.

Haha, was busy doing chores yesterday . I usually wipe on and wipe off, but watched a YouTube video review where they suggested it glosses as it cures

So question is Nev, which do you prefer . Sonax or D & D ?

I have to say D&D, but longevity yet to be established
So are you giving the Sonax to @jassyo06 , sure he'd love to make use of it ...... When the snow stops up his end of the world

Durability of a spray on product should not come into the equation if you wash and protect your paint regularly, it's different with a wax as it as it's more time consuming to apply and in most cases more expensive, heard from a certain well renowned person that done and dusted Si isn't a bead monster?

Beading look ok, but more about protecting ceramic which this, BSD, reload etc are all about

Still on about that ceramic tut tut lol
Think yuv had yer moneys worth out of it, besides its extremely difficult to test how resilient it is now ie at what level is it really protecting your paint, even mega expensive ceramic coatings don't last mate besides a ceramic coated paint is prone to scratches etc etc if a proper wash regime isn't in place and you've got a great machine polisher now blah de blah de blah ... .

Haha, mate, desperate to let the XFE loose on the paint, bit ceramic is holding on. Clearly my wash regime is pretty good
