hello all

I have just bought some alloys off eBay which are 18” and the tyres are 245/40 8j with an ET of 47

I was told there were genuine Audi A4 alloys and wondered if they would fit to my little 1.6 a3 2006

Would I need to get 225/40r18 tyres on them to fit the car and would these fit the alloys?

Has anyone used these alloys.

They need a refurb but I like the look of them.

Thanks

Dave

If I can confirm they will fit I’ll go ahead and start prepping them for paint, I’m thinking gun metal grey as my car is black.

Thank again

I would 225, this is the std size for an A3. 245 May rub.

Look through the last few pages of posts. I think this question was asked recently.

I’m running 18x7.5j et54 which is the std a3 offset.

With et 47 you shouldn’t have any issues I don’t think.

They’ll be ok but you’ll need some spigot rings to reduce the centre bore. If they are genuine Audi rims, the Audi logo, part number and Et size will be embossed on the rear of the spokes.

I think they have the right Centre bore. Is it 57.1

My Audi A4 wheels are 66mm so needed the spigot rings, measure yours to be sure.
