What is the Multifunction Camera

Hi all,

I am currently trying to spec up a 40 Avant but not sure whether to fork out for the Comfort and sound pack just for the 360 camera.

My question is the standard spec says reversing camera and multifunction camera but what is it?

Can anybody explain?

Ah

So it’s not referring to the reversing camer having another functionality.

No it is the camera located behind the rear view mirror

Sorry, bit late seeing the message, but...Get the comfort and sound pack, especially if you are looking to get the upgraded sound system!
The 360 camera set is very handy. Granted the £D view is a bit gimmicky, but it does come in handy. I now use the cameras all the time, to check distances to the side and front. The birds eye view is also really very clever. Given the ridiculously large turning circle, the 360 cameras are definitely something I would consider in the future.

If the multifunction camera does the traffic sign recognition, could you use VCDS to enable that feature if you have the MF camera but didn’t spec the traffic sign recognition?
