Hi pal,have been told to go on Facebook audi uk and send them a message regarding what's happening.have just had a reply off them and they have confirmed my car is in production as from today.hope this helps.Well my build week is supposed to be next week but I’m still getting order not found
Morning All
I put down a deposit on an S3 Sportback Black Edition Tech pack at the start of October '18. Eventually got my order number around 20th December, with an assumed build week 7 2019. Throughout the wait, the 'add order' on my online account hasn't recognised the order number. At first I was told to wait a few weeks, then for the build week. Once the build week came and went, I rang Audi UK and they said the car had been built about a week late. A week or so later they said it's on the way to the UK. They say the online tracker has been malfunctioning (for some) for months.
Throughout the process I've had to chase everything to find out what's going on. When finally had an email from my dealer they didn't seem that fussed. At one point in November he told me to ignore the forums as people are trying to discredit Audi! Am finally picking up the car this Saturday. I hope it's worth it with the changes since I ordered (reduced power, different alloys, no Audi Beam, no spare wheel?).
6 months is the longest I've ever had to wait but it sounds like some have had it worse! Anyway good luck getting your cars soon everyone.

Looks brilliant mate. Not keen on the new BE wheels but must say they look good on your new car. Enjoy it!
Thanks - I felt the same way about the BE wheels beforehand, but they are better in the flesh. The BE diffuser at the rear looks great too. Have asked dealer to retrofit Beam rings. As has been mentioned in this thread, these aren't standard any more.
Think the puddle lights are easy enough to fit yourself if you want to save the expense. Seen them around £40-£50
Great feedback, they confirmed that my build week is this week and said that it shoukd work from build week. Doesnt yet but I’ll try tomorrow then get back in touch with them

Private message Audi UK on Facebook about my car and got a response in less than an hour. Here’s what they’ve said...
“Good evening, Ross. We're happy to confirm that your vehicle has been built and is at the Port of exit waiting to get shipped to the UK, Once at the Port, vehicles can wait up to 14 days to be loaded onto a boat for the UK. If the ship arrives during the working week, vehicles take on average 24 hours to be unloaded. Your vehicle can then wait for up to one week to be assigned to a transporter for delivery to the Audi Centre. Once the vehicle is on the transporter the timescale for delivery to the Audi Centre is three to five working days. Please let us know if we can assist you with anything else.”
Really pleased with the quick response and all the info regarding where the car is and what to expect in the coming weeks. Recommend to anyone looking to see where their cars at. All they need is your order number

Looks like ours are both at the port then. Mine will be going to Sheerness as that is closest to dealer i am purchasing from. Hoping there is a ship scheduled to leave soon as sold the M3 today so currently car-less.
Also not to excite you but it seems the Malacca Highway arrived today at Emden and is scheduled to leave Emden tomorrow and get to Sheerness at 5pm tomorrow evening.....

No i have been using the Audi UK Facebook page and sending them messages on Facebook for the last few weeks. Give them your order no. and ask for the latest status code and they will provide info. They are quick to respond as well.
As far as I know mine is coming into Grimsby. Collecting the car from Doncaster

Mind me asking how you found out about what ship your car may be on. Been looking on MarineTraffic but can’t find any ships going from Emden to Grimsby

Only by some guess work. Mine will be going to sheerness so searched for any arrivals to Emden going there. It showed that ship arriving today and being a car transporter. I checked and it seems Audi have used it before. May be a long shot but never know!
I do believe though that once into status 39/40 they (Audi) can tell you the ship it’s on.
Found out mine is currently in Emden awaiting the ship to Sheerness, thanks to my dealer. And no thanks to the tracker, which still isn't working!
No idea to be honest, mate. Only bought it a couple of weeks ago when it was already well along the line. I think there are a lot coming through destined as 'stock' cars, judging by the deals on DTD.

Mine was same but update today is it has boarded the Malacca Highway. However yesterday’s schedule seems to have changed as it’s currently docked in Rotterdam!

Mins was BW6 and picking it up from Doncaster too. Its currently at the docks in Grimsby and should be at the dealers in a couple of days. The City of Rotterdam seems to be mainly doing the Emden - Grimsby run it dropped off yesterday and is heading back to Emden now.

Audi should be able to confirm the ship it's on once it hits status 39.

My A4 was BW6 (sorry wrong forum but just keeping my eye on this). The latest update I had was the car is now at the UK port. I live in Doncaster but collecting the car from Sheffield.
Happy there seems to be a trend of 4 weeks from build to UK. Mines BW10 but that puts me too close to Brexit to not be nervous! Car could be stuck at customs, could all be fine, could be charged import tax?!

Mine was at status 40 this morning after the ship arrived at Sheerness in early hours. Audi confirmed a transport order has been raised by the dealer so just waiting for it to get on a transporter now. I think that means next stage is 60 - on way to dealer.
I ordered my A3 Sportback S-line on January 5th and it's already here. The collection is scheduled on March 12, the day after tomorrow
I couldn't wait (I know it's childish) and went to the dealer just in order to have a glance. First A3 ordered Oct 2013 and I didn’t pick it up until March 4th. (Not too many days ago I got pics thrown up at me on a social media site shouting look what you did a really long time ago when you was younger). Loved it, so much so I ordered an S3 and picked that up in March 2016. Because I’m an idiot, I sold that in early 2018 and bought a Manual diesel non Audi tank. Guess I felt I didn’t deserve such a great car and should suffer crap for a while and go back to changing gears...well I’ve had enough. Got a new spec just shy of £40k. Big fat juicy lump off via DTD and I’m going to pull the trigger on a new S3 hopefully in the next day or two as soon as the broker follows up. I don’t care it’s end of line and look forward to not being an idiot and selling it before the next gen S3 hits our potholed roads. That’s me back to stalking ASN again and it could be a long wait....we shall see

Had a message off the dealer first thing to say that mine was enroute to the port. Should be status 38 by now. Hopefully on a ship soon !
