Turbo Flutter and pause of power

I've noticed on my S3 DSG that sometimes when changing from 3rd to 4th after it builds up boost from low revs when it changes gear automatically I get a turbo flutter and it's asif the car stalls power for half a second then carrys on .Anybody experienced anything like this before?

Have you checked the DV?
Sounds like a boost issue between gear changes.

That's what I'm thinking, I've only had it since Monday so abit paranoid with it, Ive very little experience under the bonnet with stuff. I'm OK for the outside I'm a panel beater and painter lol

DV is very easy to check, just need to get the engine cover out of the way (pull up the bottom right corner, shouldn't need removing) and a T25 or T30 drive.
3 bolts and one electric plug to remove and you can lift it out and inspect it.
if it's got a tear in it (rubber diaphram) it will be very obvious and you know you will need to replace it.

To me that sounds like normal behaviour but then I don't have a DSG. With you being in Manchester I could put my DV on yours or look at yours for that matter. I replaced mine for piece of mind as the part isn't that much - that's if it is the DV.

Thanks, it has a revo intake so the .Over is already missing I'll give it a quick look over and ask one of the techs at work, Yeah MRight if no luck that would he great..im in Bolton but I don't mind travelling abit.. I'll update once I have a check
