Is there any way to do this without involving a dealership? Loads of info for other models but not the c7 :-(

I don’t think so mate. When I rang up my local Audi dealer they said I had to come in with the log book, ID’s and proof of address.

When I got there, they told me they couldn’t do it and had to take it to the dealer that the car was first brought from, which is over 200 miles away. I’m the second owner of the car. So I kicked up a fuss, saying they are stupid. Spoke to a manager, who done it on his laptop in about 30 seconds.

He’s didn’t check any of my paperwork either.
I swear they just make up there own $#\*.

Now I can check my services online. Which has now opened up a new can of worms, as I’m missing services on there.

Yeah, from what I've read loads of dealerships aren't clued up on it. I'm second owner too. Did live chat with Audi today they said they would call me back and do it, but not received a call back. Oh well I may drop in stoke Audi to see if they can do it without a fuss.

I want to see the last service on the gearbox as it may be due now if it wasn't part of the last service.
