avant load cover

I've got the electric load cover in my vehicle, not sure if this is standard?

when deployed it rattles quite a lot, is this normal?

Yes it's standard. No the rattle is not normal, doesn't do it on my C7. Have them look at it under warranty

tbf i retracted the load cover today and the rattle is still there, think it's more likely to be the hinge/exhaust

and unsurprisingly Audi can't look at it for a month!

Yeah my 2014 Avant has an electric one on it as well

I'm sure my 15 plate hasn't got an electric load cover.... I can see cables in there but nothing moves when I open the boot

Just sat in my boot and I can see the cable moving but I'm missing a some kind of bracket/clip which attached to the runners and load cover. Does any one have a part number?

Finally got the rattle fixed at Audi today, boot latch wasn’t tight

Make sure both inserts are in tracks up the pillars..... mine has a habit of one side falling out when used manually.

Can u see a part number for the inserts? I need to get hold of a pair.

to confirm the rattle was the boot latch... which was tightened and then began rattling again

Audi are replacing it today
