Mk1 TT Coupe 225 In Yellow

Hi Guys & Gals

Just wondering if anyone would know how many mk1 Audi TT's where produced in yellow and if they were anything special?

Just don't see many at all and I have been offered one at a very good price?

AFAIK there were no special editions in yellow. The reason it's probably cheap is because not many people want to drive a yellow car. Although you don't seem to mind so might work for you.

I don't know how many were produced, but Imola Yellow is quite rare. My friend has one, and it gets a lot of attention. One way to take the edge off (if you wanted to that is), would be to fit a black V6 spoiler extension and rear valance.

I decided yes but then there where hidden problems. The main one was NO KEYS.

It was on an auction site my work carry out work for and I think someone knew more than they where letting on with the Keys scenario.

Gutted as it was a lovely car but obviously wasn't ment to be.

Usually find things are cheap for a reason. There is almost always a back story just a case of trying to find out what it is and whether you can live with it.
Plenty more TT's around. Maybe you dodged a bullet it was yellow after all .
