Has any one got a copy of their Audi Vehicle Order to hand, who specced Pan Roof and Sports Exhaust and Carbon inlays on their saloon cars.
I’m interested to know the cost inc VAT. I’m trying to calculate the saving this new Sports Pack represents.
I have prices for the following:
£44750 rrp
£375 Privacy glass
£900 Sports exhaust ???
£1000 Sunroof ???
£??? Carbon inlay
£795 Sport seats
£800 Gloss black styling pack
£695 Wheels
£1200 Road fund
£55 Reg fee
£630 delivery
----------------------------
£51305 Total (Excluding: Carbon Inlays, Exhaust & Sunroof TBC)
-£50665
Saving £640
Does this raised section look any bigger possibly? Especially at the side?

Nothing much else I can notice just now?!
Supply and demand though, another 4 or 5 grand will put loads off.Sports exhaust was £1,000, sunroof £1,075 & carbon inlays £850.
Previously a standard spec RS3 saloon cost £45,250 OTR. New pricing for standard spec means an increase of £1,415 but you now get privacy glass (was £375) and phone box (was £325) as standard.
Taking into account the full spec of the new Audi Sport Edition priced at £50,665, before it would have cost £51,565 OTR for the same spec, so total saving is £900 or another way to look at it, free carbon fibre inlays.
In the event of a no deal Brexit, a 10% tariff looks very likely, Porsche are already covering their backs for such outcome and won’t be long before other manufacturers follow…

I’ve just looked at how mine looks on the Audi owners section, mine is displayed exactly the same with the enhanced flare.
Looks identical to me, all except for the wheels of course.
I haven’t read the document in detail haven’t had chance yet, but is there any mention of a particulate filter in these new models?
Yep it has it. See below.

Soooo, in regular people terms... how does that change/effect the car day to day driving?

Well according to the guys that have the OPF on the MY 19 S3's it no longer farts on the up-shifts and sounds quieter than the FL S3 that did not have the particular filter.
We will just have to see how the sound is once it is out.

Post wltp TTRS has the same power AN.I’d imagine there will be longer regen intervals compared to a diesel but the usual issues and lifespan of the filter.
Not to mention all of that noise lost. Perhaps more restrictive holding back an ounce of power?
Great analogy. Who wouldn't want fee Carbon inlays.
Oh wow really, no DSG farts? Now I may start arguments here but I’m coming from an S3 and I loved mine, but the DSG farts are one of the highlights from the way it sounds and without would be pretty boring.
Do they pop and crackle as they used to or have they gotten rid like they have in the FL RS3?
PFL = loud.
FL = less loud.
FFL = pussycat

Yep no more DSG bangs. I agree, love it from my FL S3 it makes it stand out more.
Strangely, it still has the crackles on the overrun even with the OPF. There was a video posted on on the A3/S3 8V forum of a Golf R with the OPF. Wonder how the RS3 will sound now
@AudiNutta After 23,000 miles my car definitely pops and crackles.
Have you had your resonator removed? It’s amazing in the S3!! Pops turn to bangs When I went back standard, could hardly hear the pops with all windows up.
This is a sad day, deletion of the DSG fart.
Have to say mines does it on all downshifts if you time it right, also get a good pop from it on up shifts in the right torque band......more than enough for meNot quite the same as an S3 or PFL RS3 on the paddles. If you leave it in sport it does occasionally when changing down into 3rd and 2nd and that’s fun.
Only time it ever does it on the paddles is if you’re braking firmly to a stop and change into 1st, it’s like you trick it as if the gearbox disengages and it’s like blipping it at idle.
The PFL was just insane on every level and watching videos of it now makes me realise that, but when I’m driving mine I don’t find myself wishing it let of gunshots it’s great as it is. Downshifting up to 2500rpm in an empty high street at night is loud enough already
Showing Saloon, Audi Sport edition. Hmmm, wonder what that is then?
