HELP!! alloy choice and pics

I want to some alloys on my 2016 RS3 catalynia red... anyone have any pics of aftermarket alloys on theirs i'm finding it difficult to choose which alloys to go with it..

8.5j et45 19 no spacers required. They clear the front callipers by about 2/3mm

Not sure who’d done them black but the refurb is horrendous!!

You think this colour is still too dark?

It’s how it looks on the car that’s the thing, on a set of winters on my A3 a few years ago I went with the colour of the grey centre caps but with a high gloss lacquer not matt.

The wheels were really dark and I hated them against the white car. It could look great but won’t know until it’s done :/

I’m not the right person to ask about the black wheels as I’ve never liked them but they are invisible on your car haha. I have always loved the side on photo of your car with the rotors, the colour is just right and I’d go with the new wheels in that colour if it was me.

Don't need to go aftermarket, plenty of good oem options within the Audi/VW group.

How’s the ride and general usability affected? No rubbing anywhere? Something I’d consider looking at but always thought the ride would be brutal.

To be honest, I didn’t have the original wheels on for all that long, maybe 200miles, so it would be hard for me to point out real difference in ride quality.
Imo it’s all the same... no rubbing, no “crashiness”.... drives like I could imagine the original wheels did.
I think the fact the slightly lower profile tyres, helps bring the difference in size down a small margin.

Hi Matt, no spacers required 8.5j Et45 19inch 235 35 19 pzeros all round looks spot on without the poke spacers give. Sit nice and flush with the arches.

Interesting thanks, V Spokes or the twin spoke S3 wheels are high up on my list if I ever changed.

I wonder what Audi would say about the tyre issue if I changed wheels

Haha you tease. Where did you get them? They’re similar to the ones I put up a post about a while back. Still not been able to find some nice 20’’ I like. I’ve been looking at Vosser ones but I prefer yours in all honesty.

I got them from a guy that was aiming for the look in the pictures orange rs3. Those are the R8 wheels which cost ALOT of money, and are a tight fit. He bought several wheels before ending up with a set of the R8 wheels and decided to sell on the rest.
They’re the TTS which I had refinished.... I wanted to keep the diamond cut finish on my car but also wanted to stick with oem.

I’ll leave you some pictures of what he went with

Bought new, completely stripped, refinished & recut

I had them fitted to my S3 first of all, but that was sold on to get the rs3 and decided I’d keep the wheels. The s3 was also lowered 25-30mm

I’ve just posted a few pictures.... but don’t really have anything else in my photos. Cars in for warranty work atm as well so can’t just get some for you just yet.

Yeah they look the ’s ********. Mines all in black so I think they’d sit well.

Currently I’ve only had a stage one remap and a ghost immobiliser put on it. Someone tried breaking in the house a couple of months back and I’m pretty sure they were after the car.

The search for decent wheels continues
