Let us know how you find welcoming lights difference( at night ) from your previous bulbs guys
Here you go, this is why my neighbours hate me...and that's without the headlights!
Best of all, it allows me to sit cross-legged as I work looking like a Zen philosopher.

Can I ask jdp1962 as yours looks like a B8.5 model the same as mine, I went outside an hour ago to fit the led bulbs (foolishly as it's sunny here, but still -2C with snow lying) and couldn't get the foglight grill to come out as you described. I have the adaptive cruise control sensor 'thingy' alongside the foglight but the grill doesn't seem attached to that in anyway, so I tried what you suggested but the inboard 'pointy' corner of the grill is a really tight fit and although I pushed a small screwdriver (carefully) in and tried to prise the grill out, it didn't want to come. I didn't want to use too much force, what with the cold temperature possibly making the grill more brittle.
So I've given up for now and wondered if I'm doing anything stupid....... apart from trying to do this at -2C !!!

It could just be the temperature, but I seem to recall there's another was to hook it out. If you look closely at the top inboard corner, there should be a tiny circular hole. The idea is to hook a trim removal piece or similar into there and give it a tug. Of course it could be just tight because of a dust seal between surfaces, so maybe squirt some silicon spray around the edges?
Thanks, I'll try this........ but not tonight! Forecast for tomorrow here is cold, crispy and clear, so maybe.
If it's not working try the way I did it, literally two torx screws on the arch liner and it's right there.
Funnily enough, after failing (miserably) to remove the grill I did try your way. I jacked up the drivers wheel, removed the wheel bolts..........and the wheel is 'stuck' to the hub! Gave up as I was frozen by this stage. Need warmer weather!
You don't need to remove the wheel, just put it on full lock and there's plenty of space. It's only the two outer screws on the arch lip that gives you enough play to bend it back. Literally takes a couple of minutes.

Just use a allen key (spreads the weight). Fits well inside the hole and you can pull it well. I did the mod in summer so it was a lot easier. Audi are much better at design then bmw as everything was a pain to take off!

Fitted mine this morning, did it from the front end rather than the wheel arches and it was very easy to do. Took about 20mins all in as I was trying to take some photos to help anybody out as well.
Little hole in the top right, insert a small Allen Key and hook the end behind the grille, give it a pull with some pliers/grips and the whole thing pops straight out:

T25 screwdriver in the 2 screws at the bottom corners:

That's the way I did mine. Hope you gave them a good clean before fitting them back. lol

I have a question for the previous people that have undertaken this with these bulbs... We’re your LED openings in the side of the bulb housing facing up and down when you’d installed or on the sides?

I gave the lenses a wipe off with a wet wipe, didn’t clean the housing at all though!!! Out of sight out of mind!!! Haha

Hmm, mine are top and bottom, but wondering if they need rotating at all. Will see what the beam pattern is like when it’s darker.

Rotated my bulbs so as they LEDs are on either side of the bulb rather than top and bottom and the beam pattern seams better.

Hi Guys! Apologies for the thread resurrection! Brand new here, so apologies if I have missed something. Just looking on the EM Tuning website and I cant find LED fog lights anywhere. I am collecting my first ever Audi this week (B8.5 Avant Black Edition Plus) and do like my LED lights around the car.
As soon as I get the car I will put a welcome post up with pics

I can’t see the option there either, so it might be they he has merged them under a different category.

I fitted these last week and work great, no errors. Very bright and a little glary from the side but it's fog lights which I rarely use. It was more for when unlocking the car and aesthetics. It's an S4 B8.5 Avant Black Edition (below).
Very pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to remove and fit them.

Twenty20 Cree LED H8 Foglight Bulb - One of the many advantages with LED bulbs over the standard is the length of time they will last. LED bulbs will significantly outperform standard replacement bulbs and should give 4000 hours or more.

Cool. Dead easy to fit, literally just put a wee hook inside the hole located on the fog light surround and pull it off. Then it's just two 25 torx bolts and out it comes, full access!
