Oh no mate

Its frustrating mate. Luckily one of the parents came over and told me who did it while I was doing the school run this morning. I will try and talk to the person later today. And if it is who I am told it is then it is even more frustrating as they should have had the courage to at least come forward and admit as our kids are in the same class.

They also mentioned that they went over to see the demage, tried to clean it with the hand to make it less visible and walked away, which is even more 'effin annoying

Oh my that is so sad, but school runs are full of those hazards because of the stupid behaviour of some parents. My car is often packed inside a school grounds and there are certain places I will not park because parents allow their children to play around the cars. I have even seen adults having conversations whilst resting against school staff vehicles. There is simply no respect these days..

I agree mate, 100%. I spoke to the guy this afternoon as our daughters are in the same class and have regular play dates. And he knows how fussy I am about my cars - he has seen me wash on occasions when he came to pick up his daughter from our house.

All he said was; 'I am sorry mate, happy to pay for the demage'. My point is, it is not about the money it is about having the ba*ls big enough to stand up and admit it in the first place!

Cheers mate. Luckily the guy I am going to be using is the one who painted the boot on the S4 when Oxford Audi screwed it up. Really happy with his work, you cannot tell. I have aksed my detailer if he could book the appointment for me as I'd like to go through him rather than directly. So, fingers crossed!

What a joke mate, I could never do damage and just walk away. (Some) People just don’t give a ****. I remember some 2@ opening his Porsche door onto my golf gti at the time, and when I had a fit he was so non plussed

Honestly mate, sometimes I think I should sell both the cars and buy two of these and then ask people, "hit me now"

PMSL @jassyo06. This is now she looks atm. Next weekend seems dry so will wash it and once applied I am sure BSD will hide all the imperfections

@jassyo06 - Doesn't look like Bead Maker is a QD mate. More of a sealent with poor durability (& there's enough of them ***)
More reading here on it if anyone's interested

@jassyo06 - £11.96 delivered for 500ml till the end of January
https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threa...t-deals-offers-discounts.383422/#post-3381306

Way cheaper than Gtechniq Gwash

Did the whole Gtechniq product fan boy thing years ago
Only thing I really like in their range is C2V3 & even thats not in my top 5

Lots of better & cheaper products out there than Gtechniq's offers IMHO

I've found that with Detailing products, just because its expensive doesn't mean its better than the cheaper 1's
For example - Natty's Blue wax

Didn’t do anything. Had a minor sore back that after my morning shower turned into an inability to stand up straight!

Fog kit helps to stop your interior windows from fogging up. Apparently. Was only 7 quid so worth a punt.

I Agree not a fan of Gtechniq myself.........Got a litre of C2V3....had it for a year...not used it...........not a fan of CarPro stuff either....and yeah the Autoglym tyre dressing is a winner....really impressed with it....l know from speaking to peeps that they have difficulty with a lot tyre dressings adhering to the sidewalls of their tyres well this is the dressing that will...top notch stuff and l didnt even scrub my tyres prior to application....its got good traction/friction.....on application..you can feel..........covers the sidewall in seconds without having to go back and forth over them to get the look you want

@jassyo06 - You NEED to try CarPro Eraser mate

Such a versatile product IMO
Still yet to find a better glass cleaner than CP Eraser TBH

l have used CP Eraser it's GUFF....Young @MattSedg bought it...prior to his detail..and whilst we where detailing his car last year...the CP eraser....just didnt cut it to remove the polish residue....too much work....Bilt Hamber Cleansing Fluid is Peerless....in this department..............awesome stuff but it's expensive...but a little goes a long way....with CP Eraser you've got to use at least twice as much product to get the same results as you would with the Bilt Hamber

Yeah it’ll be a pope mobile for me next at this rate. I’ll let you know. If you find windscreen and rear window cleaning (inside) a pain in the **** I can thoroughly recommend this:
