V rare to see a cabriolet :) nice...

always wanted to know what one is like with the roof down (noise wise).

Maybe do a video with roof down in a Swiss tunnel come summer!!, been flashed in the same tunnels every year we have ventured down to Italy(7 times)!!!!, not that I’m mental it’s more to do with the less than generous speed limits in Swiss, I am careful not to get caught as they basically throw the key away

It will be used to go on holiday but it will be used everyday like any normal car, I have had soft tops for the last ten years, Saab, Slk, Bmw, my partner has a Mini Cooper D which she enjoys immensely but a little too small for the haul south...

My first drive of an A3 (8V version) was a convertible in the same colour. Only a 1.4 TFSI one, though. :D

Be careful here in Switzerland! The fines get sent back to the UK! Not sure how severely they are enforced but they do track your reg number so if you get a fine, don’t pay it, then next year have the same car and come back then you might be in for a surprise! Speed limits are enforced yes, but then Switzerland has the safest roads in the EU so it’s a bit of give and take! The Mont Blanc and Frejus tunnels are the ones to watch. Defo don’t speed in them. Active cameras the whole length of the tunnel and police each end at all times to catch people. Save your speed for Italy. They dont give a dam!

Lovely looking car.
Had lunar silver interior in my last a6 and it was lovely, just made the interior that bit brighter and nicer place to be in. I would get some cleaner/sealant on the driver seat. My ones were stained after a while from my jeans and spent hours getting it looking good again with the autoglym cleaners/oil. After that it didn’t stain again.

Hi
I am having the paint /Wheels/Seats done with Protect X which is a Bmw dealer product so hopefully that will help keep the seats nice

I have been flashed numerous times in Swiss and never received anything through the post, I was told that the DVLA will not unless paid supply the details of Uk citizens license’s , also they would have to employ another 100 staff !!
