Hi I have B7 2006 Sline Quattro and VCDS scan reports these modules in the front doors,
does anyone no if these are compatable with folding wing mirrors?

Drivers side: 8E 959 802 F
Passenger side: 8E2 959 801 F

Thanks

I think there is a retro fit guide on here that gives you part number for the modules required for power folding mirrors

Hang on, I just checked using VCDS and I have these,
8E 959 802 F
8E 959 801 F
8E 959 802 E
8E 959 801 E
but not sure which are fronts and rear?

8E2959801F
8E2959802F
8E0959801E
8E0959802E
If i remember correctly? 8E2 is front, 8E0 is rear, last number is left or right, F at the end is the options code, the letter at the end is important for retrofitting mirrors

Hi, Yes your right I have , I checked the VCDS scan again
8E2 959 802 F
8E2 959 801 F
8E0 959 802 E
8E0 959 801 E
So my fronts end in F, most say you need E at the end for folding mirrors, but not sure if that was for B6, the B7 has some later modules.
what I need is someone with folding mirrors on a B7 to report what modules they have fitted.

Yes the E,s work ,think they can be b6 or b7,they have an extra row of pins in the mirror conection plug, look out for them when searching, same modules also in seat exeo, and most likely other vag cars, also look on the lower sticker on the module, your looking for MAX,as opposed to MIN
