Moving up

Just put my S3 8P 2+ back to standard and now picked up a 2016 RS3. The noise is unreal i love it.

Would upload a pic but it says everything is too large.

Few things already though, either the P zero tyres are poo or the haldex is doing its job.

And im either revving to high in 1st as im used to my s3. When i change gear in manual 1st 2nd. It changes violently and the traction light flashes at me

The p-zeros are terrible. I swapped over to Michelin and is a massive improvement. In manual mode on the PFL you have to change up quite early in 1st to avoid whacking up against the limiter.

Just been out for a drive. Launched it and the car squirmed every where. Then as changing gear was do harsh... these tyres are shocking haha

Nearly 2 weeks with the car now and still loving it. Thought id add some of the spec the car came with. Pan roof, B+O, Sat Nav, Super Sport seats, Auto lights and wipers (love these as my S3 wasn't spec'd with them haha)

My S3 is now sold so i solely have this car now. Done nearly 28k so i wouldn't mind looking into what may need changing. Tyre's will be my first point as dont like these P zero. The brakes are impressive compared to the S3 (even after new disc and pads+ brake fluid)

I still think it needs that secondary decat, needs a bit more more low down grunt i think.
Any cool options i can do on OBD11 feel free to tell me, I need go have a play.

Ordered some black badges and secondary decats today. Also got some qoutes to put my wheels black and diamond cut if i end up going that way. My dad has a body shop so maybe put the wing mirrors black also to go with the rest of the black on the car. Not 100% yet

Someone on here, possibly @Callum66 had his wheel refurbed to diamond cut. They look incredible and OEM like and he didn't pay much at all...similar cost to a normal wheel refurb.

Secondary decat is a must. Makes the car sound utterly mental. Not a big fan of black badges but ETTO!

They do look good. I was going to get them done on my S3 but i didnt want black on black in the end. Been qouted £400 so far. Black badges are marmite for people i think, same with rear wiper delete haha. I like both to be fair.

Another plus is i finally got put my private reg on this evening also.

Secondary decats are going on tuesday. Ive got this week off so im hoping to give it a good clay and polish.

Ive been messing with obd11 all morning adding a few bits on to it.

Think I need to get some secondary decats. I have sports exhaust on my PFL will the decats still keep the exhaust relatively quiet in comfort mode ? Did you go for Audi decats or Milltek etc?

I went for Audi decat pipes. They're just a pipe at the end of the day and are both a similar price.

Still sounds quiet in comfort mode. But in sports mode it's insane.

I went for audi pipes for sale on here. Cruising around theres very little difference. I expected a bit more rumble low down but hey ho.

I find the RS muted compared to my misses 18 plate SQ5 when the revs are low down and both in dynamic. When the taps open up then the RS is a lot louder. The decat pipes have added to that for sure.

Unplug the valves the exhaust sounds completely different, absolutely love it but not everyone will
