Gladen amplifier with head unit

Hi all,

My head unit has only one sub out low level RCA connection and I'm not sure the best way to connect it to the a Gladen RC 600 C1 amplifier. The Gladen instructions don't help much.
Should I:-

1) Connect just one RCA to the head unit and amp. Which side should I use on the amp?

2) Use a Y splitter at the head unit and connect both RCA leads to the amp?
