As my post in the long running thread on the delays for a new A4 is likely to get lost over time, I've created this thread to make it easier to access the Google Spreadsheet that I created where you can log your order details if you wish.

The spreadsheet can be edited by anyone to enhance the content etc. and is automatically saved when updated.

I've made some improvements to the spreadsheet. Engine options are now in a drop down box - I think I've covered them all and haven't bothered with the Ultra as I believe they have been discontinued. I'm also sorting the list by Order Date followed by Build Week.

REB, I'm intrigued to see what your "matrix candles" are like. Is it the latest lighting technology with a retro twist?

Yep new for the MY19 model. I've gone for a twin headlight setup - here's the offside front. The passenger side is similar. The rears are red of course.

Given a build week at the end of Nov, but looking at the spreadsheet, there seems to be no correlation between order dates, options, and build dates. I'm not getting too excited that it will be built any time soon.

Not sure. Is it correct? If not just delete the information or add the correct date.

It's the order to build number. It says 158, but don't know where this number came from.

That's the number of days between the order date and the build date, i.e. how long you have waited for a build start.

The number is calculated automatically once an order date and a build date have been entered.

Just to make it look a bit more daunting (perhaps), I've modified the formula that calculates the difference in days from order to build date to display the result in months and days.

Hopefully I won't have to modify it again to display 'Years' as well

Just checked this thread out - you guys have massive patience to wait so many months for the pride and joy to be built. I also note that there are few company cars (tax burden took the advantages out of that years ago), that most are TFSI and therefore petrol (wise given the diesel position) and the majority are Stronics (manuals are zero joy in our clogged up roads).

I see someone has added two more columns to show 'Delivery Date' and time from order to delivery - good idea.

As there has been a lack of activity on the spreadsheet over the last couple of weeks, I'll be deleting it in 48 hours unless anyone particularly wants me to leave it up and running.

I think the majority of delays have been resolved now so should be fine. Thanks for doing it mate, it was very useful.

I have now permanently deleted the A4 Orders spreadsheet as there has been no activity for more than two weeks.

Thank you to all those that provided order information and updates. I hope you all have your new cars by now or at least can see a (bright) light at the end of the tunnel

Personally, I cancelled my A4 Avant order and bought a 4 mth old (2150 miles on the clock) S4 Avant
