Hi, recently my Audi beam lights started to become blurry and fuzzy , i only had them on the driver/passenger door.

i got in contact with Bolton Audi and they said this seems to be common issue and they were happy to repalce these under warranty. Out of good will they also did my rear doors :) so now got the 4 rings on all doors .

they look greta now, alot more vibrant a cleaerere. so anyone with the same issue contact your dealer,

Early Audi beams suffered from water ingress which was resolved with a revised design around Jan/Feb last year.

Had mine replaced last year, one of the first FL S3's, looked very weird at the end.

Mine have also started to deteriorate. I will be asking the dealer to replace under warranty. I'm assuming it's water ingress.

Pleased i came cross this as my drivers side is similar to above and wondered if it would still be a warranty item.

Interesting subject....I will keep an eye on mine for any signs of deterioration in the future.
While on the subject of these "puddle" lights, they are little more than a gimmick in my opinion because proper puddle lights should ideally be fixed to the underside of the mirror and illuminate the ground around the door when the car is remotely unlocked.
Having said that I do think the 4 rings look quite cool. :innocent:

The snow season 2017 affected my ones got then replaced under warranty. Asked them as goodwill to do my rear doors too as I didn't have any. . And they did, give it a try.

Mine were replaced under warranty without any quibble at all.
Nice one thanks, did they have to order them in? only my local dealer is quite a distance and I might try and send them a picture of it and see if they'll replace it based on that.

They pinched them off a new car and then ordered them in to replace those so my car was done there and then. They didn’t have them in stock.

I picked some up for my rear doors from shrewsbury audi and they had 81 sets in stock at the time

Only 81 lol, thanks mate nice to know, from past experience they don't seem to stock anything so I may be lucky.
