Such an underated mod! I had this done for me and love it.
I can't have a car without cruise now. I use it so much. Even retrofitted cruise to my old 2008 Ford Focus, despite Ford arguing with me that it couldn't be done. Egg on their face when I took the car back to show them a week later.

Agreed, I will now have them on all my cars!

Haha great going! I would love to see their faces! Good on you for going back and giving them a polite middle finger haha.

Used vcds to check the pd elements as I’m planning to replaced them with ARL elements for mild tuning

They read :
-0.80 +0.40 0.00 +0.40

Are they still ok?

Basically whatever you have done to your b6 today stick it up on here. Washed it, fixed it, modded it, looked at it, took it somewhere...so on.

Took a picture of her in the rain and Decided NOT to sell her!

293,842 miles and counting!
(1.9TDi Quattro Avant)
Also decided that I'm probably going to throw £2k at dragging her back up to my desired level of maintenance and standard, as she's been neglected over the last few (9) months. It makes zero financial sense but neither (to me) does spending £12-15k on a low mileage B8 that'll be worth £5k in 3 years.

Well seeing that winter is now here my thermostat decided it wasn't working anymore and it was minus 4.5 on the way to work this morning!
So, I changed the thermostat housing and the J plug as well while I was there, good job I did as the old one was in two pieces and just waiting to kill the water pump.

Have had the luke warm heater thing for a bit & decided to replaced the heater matrix this morning, it's actually not that hard of a job just getting the clamps on again is a tad awkward .............. My god I forgot how hot it gets with it working properly ...toasty

Also got myself odbeleven pro, really handy, capable little gadget.

Piece by piece, I'm transferring from the old car to the new car.
All front control arms, front Eibach springs, front discs and pads, rear discs and pads.
Rear shock absorbers, rear Eibach springs.
Diverter valve, new car didn't have one fitted
New car bonus, it's the BEX engine and has been mapped. Negatives, not quattro
I have the parts but it's just too much work. It's already under geared with the six speed box and would be even worse with the five speed in it.
I have a replacement gearbox as the one in the new car is noisy when decelerating.
The code is GVC and comes out of an 07 A6 2.0 tfsi, cruising at 60 will drop the revs from 2500 to just over 2000.

Today I enabled with ODBeleven auto lock/unlock (locking at 15kmh & unlocking when key is taken out of ignition) & windows up/windows down via the remote.
Well happy with that .....

I really love those features as well.
My car only unlocked drivers door with single press and now they all open with single press.

Mined does this too. However, if you hold down unlock, it opens all.

Great work! I think I may be need to do this at some point (Although my favourite temp in the car is a mild 20deg max!) So may need to ask for your help! :)

Glad you've still got the cabby and continuing to tinker with it!

I didn't know that. Probably that's what I should do. But I like it better unlocking all doors at once..
If I hold it the windows roll down.

Agreed! I prefer the one click open all doors feature but once upon a time I took it upon myself to read the booklet the car comes with and read loads of little features I didnt know!

It needed to be done with the colder weather on it's way .......
Have been toying with the idea of selling the cab & getting an A5 3.0 TDI quattro & a remap

Nope..
In Passats mostly
But A4’s have the smaller PD520’s instead of the PD550 that ARL and most AVF/AWX in Passat has

Definitely not turbos

The 150 is transverse with turbo fixed to manifold the 130 longitudinal is bolted to manifold

Injectors are also different, depending on car

That's what I heard. Never confirmed this information but heard it more than once.
And the turbo and manifold being one piece I thought vw had it like this and audi have the turbo separated from manifold.
Isn't the turbo from the 150 the gt1749v? If it is its the same as mine in the 130.

What’s your engine code

Think it’s a GTA1749V

Do you know you have the same injectors?
You can read it through the ecu(not vcds) or by looking at them. Think they are named AL in the end

Don't know for sure. But like I said I heard they have the same injectors with different map for more power.
