Extreme Parking

Local Tesco on a Sunday morning before 1000. End slot, bit of space stolen to the nearside and I get another audi keeping me company.

Not as good as majority on here, but work with what you got. Had space all round until I came back.

Got myself a nice end space today and noticed another a3 on the right almost touching the barriers in an effort to as far across as possible

. Good thing is it is only a Friday evening spot and I use it when I bring my daughter for her 11+ tution here. I don't park at airport / hotel parking. Too stressful

It was the Mull ferry. Got the big one across and the wee in back. Think there’s a few more sailing in the summer and they use the small one as well

The two ferries run all summer as there was a big increase in traffic since the reduction in prices following the introduction of Road Equivalent tariff on the route. The guys are great at loading but I always try and go on the 'big' ferry as there is usually about a couple of extra inches of room!!

It was worth it for this and some of the roads were great to drive on.

Agreed on the roads. A bit off topic but here's a short video of the (main) road on the west side of the island although with a slightly different type of driving from normal

Brilliant....... is that not just a local guy on his dash cam?!
I’m long overdue a trip up your way and over to Mull and Iona Bill, love it up there.

Yes, yes, yes..........I'm not crazy after all. Thank you for confirming this. I also like the "garden" stop/start approach. Also, what I didn't mention in my original photo is that there is a very slight and gentle ledge on the far side. I actually parked into this in order to give extra space between my car and the line/space next to me.

Ok.....I concede.........maybe I need help!

I always do this at least I’m not the only one lol but then the person who “always” parks there when I get back to the car must just think I’ve given them extra room so they still park close to the car!! Moron! :laughs:

Right out of the way at Chesters Greyhound Park today, the Q5 was the row behind and a few spaces down, obviously they had the same idea :)

I was near Cheshire Oaks today around lunchtime, thought I'd nip into Burger King thinking it would be quiet!!! How wrong was I???

I faced this:

My taste buds were all set for a BK, so I parked out of the way leaving a few spaces between the car next to me and walked :D

So I park at the back away from the crowd over the line slightly to discourage people from parking next to me. Get back to find a S4 parked like this ...

TX.

Not a good time to follow the toon is it, I’ve given up on them until Ashley is gone. I’ve said that for years and still kept up with it but this season I genuinely haven’t, lost complete interest in footy tbh. Spend the extra time cleaning me car lol.

Aye I’m the same to be fair, last game I went to was Notts Forest but the less said about that the better to be honest... least if you aren’t going to the matches you’ve got some extra time and money to spend on the car :footy:
