Looking specifically for recommendations from A3 e-tron drivers

Getting very close to the point where I will need a new set of tyres.

At the the moment I have Pirelli Cinturato P7 Blue 225/45 R17 91V

I am looking at Michelin CrossClimate+ on 17s to use as winter tyres as I intend to buy a set of 18s for the summer.

Does anyone have any recommendations or would I just stay with what came with the car ?

I got bridgestone potenzas from Costco. I was not a fan of the Continentals that came with my car.

Unfortunately they are not an option at Costco here .

I have been reading a lot about the CrossClimate + They seem to get amazing customer reviews a few people complain about them washing out a bit in spirited cornering , and that they are prone too punctures . Interesting the only ones avalible in my size are the XL variety which means they will have a stiffer sidewall I wonder if this is deliberate to help with the issues ?

I just fitted Cross Climate + 17 225/45 R17 , so far after 300 miles they seem adequate they are XL so have stiffer side walls I hoped this would help with the squishy cornering but it hasn't really made any difference, I intend to fit so eibach pros to solve this. I haven't driven them in and really bad weather yet so time will tell, but they have had such good reviews all round. It is hard with the e-tron as it is really tourqy if you floor it. I intend to use them as winter wheels and by summer hopefully I will have the turbine 18s I want but can't seem to find.... and put decent summer tyres on these.

Had a scary experience with the old Pirellis documented here....

On another matter how is your battery miles , mines dropped down to 21 miles on “full charge “ in this colder weather

Mine said 23 earlier this evening, about 8.5 deg on the dash. The number is so random though I find and is really only a guess ..... It seems really dependent on how you have driven recently. I live in the sticks so usually start on hybrid and switch to EV when I get to town and they dynamic when I'm merging or on a bad roundabout or just fed up with the guy up my rear.... =)

I have seen it say 30 once but usually 27 . Car is 2years old with 23k miles

It seems to average with mixed driving about 60mpg constantly......

Best I’ve seen is 28 but has you say very variable, cars 3yrs old with 60k best mpg is around 57mpg
