Inspired by a couple of quality posts on another thread, this can be a place where we post pictures of our pride and joys under the flattering light of garage forecourt/multi-storey car park LED lighting to really show-off how amazing our cars look after they’ve been properly detailed. A few to start us off. Enjoy...

My modest Daytona Grey Pearl S3 Sportback after a 6 hour detailing session...

@Tashfeen ‘s Scuba Blue A3 TFSI (machine polished perfection)...

I am flattered mate and my poor man's A3 feels privileged being surrounded by two beautiful S3s, which have been detailed to perfection

Nowt poor about the finish on that A3 mate. This thread is intended for all - A1 to R8, the finish is the judged factor, not the model. Yours is high class.

Just go for the in2detailing mini dual actiom polisher with the 8mm throw or the shine mate mini rotary polishing kit, don't waste £500 on the Rupes it's really meant for the those who'll get their money back using it and not the hobbyist mate

i thought you'd come in with the recommendation! will definately keep it in mind as yeah the ibrid is seriously steep.
will also try and find someone local with a paint depth gauge, dont want to ram on polishing and regret it :readit:

Or a certain @q5man or a certain well groomed @A4A4

Or @Scotty75, and come on @Lisa - you guys have some nicely looked after examples to share as well.

My next challenge to myself is to get a great night-time, inside an empty multi-story shot (all within the sensible confines of not getting car-jacked late at night though, lol)

If there's any qpark car parks nearby you try them!

Crystal Serum Ultra + EXO. Gloss levels are insane. Shame about the pants photographer (and the condensation on me Pano) :weary:

It's same here @q5man. Expecting the weather to be slightly better this weekend, fingers crossed.

Very nice @Pook ! A worthy contender. You've put some elbow grease into that finish for sure. Kudos for having the 'Cahunas' (as Jassy puts it) to take part in The Forecourt Challenge! :sunglasses:
Thanks! Cahunas is one word ha, I felt like a right numpty striding round me car snapping it from different angles. But screw it eh, like you say, a good few hours graft went into that today so happy to show it off :) I must say though, Crystal Serum Ultra makes it so so easy to keep looking immaculate. Genuinely was a dodle.

You could ask a similar question to women do all men's tackle look the same? and the answer would be lol

No. No they don’t.

Lol.

I do get the question - but the depth of gloss and attention to ‘detail’ under forecourt LED lighting is VERY accentuated - you can spot a very well looked after motor under these conditions. Just a fun thread for us to enjoy

Indeed :) I do think you can tell the diff for sure, but didn’t know whether it was just my bias. Look forward to some more pics from folk.

Well worth the money mate cars looking spectacular
Thanks mate, I’m glad the money has made a difference, makes me feel better about spending it lol. I just wouldn’t have the time to learn how to machine polish properly etc like yourself so this is the best happy medium for me.

Yeah it's time/physically/money consuming hobby mate it knocks the stuffing out of me especially as l have a physically heavy job Monday to Friday and like last week l worked Saturday then done the car on the Sunday but at least that'll do it for awhile, l guess your using C2v3 at the moment when it's time to buy it again don't, buy some Gyeon Cure instead l feel cure gives you more gloss than C2v3 actually l tried using some C2v3 at the weekend it didn't take to the wax at all.. Need to get myself some more cure or some done and dusted ASAP

As part of my growing store of QD’s I have done and dusted and haven’t used it yet

Yea exactly, as much as I like making the car look great, it takes a few hours as it is which is enough, after a hard week at work your commitment is commendable! I only use C2V3 in so much as I dilute it to make a QD which is what I spray after the initial dry to then lightly buff to a sparkly finish. As it has the EXO4 it doesn’t really need much topping up. My last car had CSL + C2V3, and on the I applied a proper coat of c2 twice a year.

Got my wrist slapped for taking photos this evening.

You are not supposed to use your mobiles in the forecourt.

So here is some in the unforgiving light.
