I'd really appreciate a little help here if possible...

I'm using VCDS version 18.9 with a HEX-V2Dual-k & can USB H10 interface.
Done a few scans & found I have 3 predominant issues.

17861- exhaust gas tem sensor 1 (G235) P1453-35-00 - open or short to plus.

17608 - boost pressure control valve (N249) P1200-035-00 - Mechanical malfunction.

16955- brake switch F - P0571 - 35 - 10 - implausible signal intermittent.

However there is also a Haldex fault in address 22 AWD .

00526 - brake light switch (F) 27-00-implausible signal

Am I correct in assuming these brake light switches are the same fault & I just need to replace the 4pin switch on the brake pedal ?

Also have a heat problem they didn't get warm at all. So flushed the system yesterday & replaced the thermostat yesterday. Now once the car is warmed up the heaters blow nice & warm for around 20seconds then cool to luke warm. Also the top pipe on the rad is solid when up to temp. So I'm guessing theres an air-lock in the system ? Can anyone advise if there are any bleed valves & if so where as I cant see any :(

Any help would be greatly appreciated

P.S. I've tried to access the Aux Heater modual on VCDS but get a little pop-up box saying it no communication ?

brake light same fault yes, just reported by the separate controllers
temp wise have you warmed it up fully for stat to open up? bottom hose will be warm when it opens..
there are no bleeds. keep eye on vcds, engine, block 001 for coolant temp when warming up in case stat does'nt open and it goes 103'c+ without fans cutting in

There is no auxiliary heater module.
Is the car standard or modified ? EGT sensor module is located under the intake manifold by the dip stick. Check the connector is plugged in correctly. You could try reseating it.

First off thank you for the replies.
@badger5 Replaced the switchs anyway & job done cheers... As for the heating system. Yeah I fitted new thermostat got the car up to temp & it is opening as I can feel flow through the pipe & its getting hot. Thing is the pipe on the RHS (looking from front of car ) is solid when the car gets upto temp. Fans are kicking in find & I've even very carefully released the expansion tank cap to release the pressure. However a few mins after its tightened up the pipe gets solid again. The heaters were pretty much useless prior to changing the thermostat but now when car is upto temp they blow nice n warm for around 30seconds the go luke warm. I'm just hoping no Praying this aint the head gasket.

@desertstorm It has a new turbo / stainless down pipe / silicone intake & HKS filter. I've had the EGT off & refitted it. Odd thing was when the new turbo was fitted it seemed the probe on the EGT was too long as with the sleave nut fully tightened there was still maybe 0.5mm movement on the probe ? I've cleared the fault several times on VCDS & it hasn't returned touch wood.
