Guys I need some help please if anyone has any idea on this.

When accelerating the revs seem to rise and fall in second maybe twice before the change to third. Seems fine in every other gear.

I was going to try and reset the gearbox ECU but I'm not sure how to do that without vagcom.

Anyone got any similar experience of this?

Cheers

Contact @DJAlix, update your gearbox and do a new calibration.

Thanks mate I will do.

I have read tonight that disconnecting the battery for 30 mins resets the gearbox adaptation! Not sure this will do anything but worth a try

So i disconnected the battery last night and closed the boot lid lol, which you cannot open from the outside with no power doh.
had to climb through the back seats to reconnect it!!!!.

Anyway car seems smoother this morning with gear changes up to second and third seemingly quicker.

see how it goes.

Has anyone with the 8 speed ZF titronic box had the oil changed?
My car has 63k on the clock now and i know audi say sealed for life but I have heard ZF say they are serviceable and can do the oil change

ZF say to change the oil before 80k mine missed this point so now they advise not to change it.
Its not a cheap service about £400 just for parts.
