has anyone had their A3 retrofitted with cruise control in Scotland?

I was looking to get it done. Does anyone know roughly what it would cost at the dealers?

I'd doubt dealers would do it. Pretty sure there's people around London that do it. I know a while back there was talk of DJAlix heading to Scotland to do a mass retrofit/coding session.

I've been looking into how much cruise control retrofit would be, if anyone could send me a quote it would be greatly appreciated, I'm based in Suffolk about 60 miles outside London, I do travel to Chelmsford for university which is closer but could be a bit difficult due to public parking. It's not a priority for me, just something I'm looking to get done at some point in the future.

I think it was me that put those terms on my original post. As a accountant and businessman I think it was only fair if Alix was travelling to sunny Scotland that we don’t get people dropping out.

Hi, Iv'e been Quoted £266 from a local (lincolnshire) VAG garage, Incl Genuine parts, VAT and labour.

Not sure how that stacks against your quotes.

its the calibration thats the main problem, it needs specialised equipment over and above coding and component protection etc.

i bought the stock and lower cowling from TPS, fitted myself, really easy to be honest. the stalk comes with codes that need to be entered via ODIS software. AVW in edinburgh coded it for less that 45 quid. happy days.

I’ve had a price from Audi £425. Aw_MW got it for £266 which makes it worth while, but I cant justify £425.
