BCS Res Delete

Hi all,

Just felt like making a post on this, I know there's 10s or more of them. I had this fitted by Nige and Dave yesterday. Took 25 minutes if that, just wanted to say anyone considering getting this done to their S3 / other car...JUST DO IT! The new sound is immense, plus Dave and Nige were absolutely top drawer.

Thanks once again, and anyone on the fence for this, fall onto the right side of the fence and get it fitted.

Get it from BCS mate, you can truly tell they take pride in what they do. I'd rather support a "local" business.

Your probably right mate , I have followed bcs since I had my 8p S3 and all I have seen is top reviews for their work. Is yours a facelift?

As already said, get the BCS one. You can check my Instagram for some videos: kennethlehns3 (the outside sound will be the same no matter which solution you choose but the drone delete is well worth it IMO)

Another vote for Nige at BCS. Have one on my 17 S3 Saloon and it's how the card should be from factory.

Great mod and a pair of top notch guys that really take pride in what they do
Hugely impressed by a simple cheap mod and considerably better than the ecs res delete I had in my previous Golf R

Nige explained it to me well:

With Res delete once in comfort it's as loud as stock in sport mode.
With res delete in sport I'd say it's a good 25-30% louder, but it's got more of a deeper note and more "burbles" . Definitely worth doing.

Unless you're driving round town in one gear too low there is nothing to worry about. With no boost the car is quiet really.

Motorway speeds are still alright really with valves shut and I think face-lift owners have it easier then PFL due to the 7th gear on the autos. Lower rpm = quieter... I guess..

Just drop Nige an email at nige@bcsautomotive.co.uk and he'll give you a quote, discount for forum members. He charges £40 to install or I think it's £20 to ship and then you can get someone local to fit it.
I drove there (3 hours for me) to get them to fit it, just thought as it's their part best to get the experts to fit it.

Dave and Nige are top guys who,s work it second to none.
I had a full 200 cell exhaust system fitted to the wifes B6 S4 Cab about 3 years ago and the sound is epic and never had a problem with it.
I always say to people go to BCS.
