S4 B7 Bi-xenon headlights

I'm a bit diappointed with the light output of these.
My previous car was an A4 B6 with halogen bulbs.
That was pretty poor too, even with GE Mega(somethings). However, they had two sets of lights so full beam was a quad light setup.

Any advice to make full beam brighter?
I live in an area where some of the back roads are unlit.

Given the age of the B7 platform now the reflectors inside the projectors will have deteriorated, giving you rubbish light output. If you want good light output take them apart and either refurbish the dull parts or do a morimoto retrofit.

Light output will be fantastic.

As above, i think they may need a clean or maybe new bulbs.

Light output in my S4 has been great since I bought and ive fitted some 6000K HIDs, light output is perfect!

If your looking for HIDs id recommend MTEC, a fraction of the price of Phillips/Osram and are bang on.

Thanks for your advice.
My car has beams that turn as you drive (forgotten the Audispeak for that).
Will changing to Morimotos or similar allow that to still function?

It's an audi option called "Adaptive headlamps" that move sideway , well not the actual headlamps but the projector part moves as you move the steering wheel, its fitted to my old bus and I changed to morimoto Bulbs a while back, been spot on for me, highly recommended .

HID's lose power with age, I think my e60 must have had the original bulbs as they were a bit meh. Changing them for some new Philips bulbs was like fitting photon cannons.
