strange rapid clicking from instrument cluster when turning ignition on and off

I get a rapid clicking sound like a relay behind the instrument cluster for about 10s then stops. this happens every time I turn the ignition on or off.

Have you scanned and if so was it VCDS? If not, try to find someone with VCDS and scan it.

scanned it has the 01435 code and a anti shudder error.

Suspect it’s related to your ABS error too

Found out it is most likely when they took apart the instrument cluster to stuff insulation tape in the esp mil and steering wheel led holes, *******, they damaged the speedo actuator. I’m trying to fix it. Got rid of the chatter on startup and shutdown but after a test drive the needle is stuck. So will have to strip it down again tomorrow.

So it looks like who ever sold the car to the owner I bought it from did some monkey business with the fault lights.

NOPE , just a believer if i can't help the person why not put them onto some who can , i live by the code fix it once and right and these guys do , which many other members think the same or they wouldn't have as many people singing there praises.
