hi folks , anyone on here fitted genuine bbs alloys to their s3 ; a3 ? I think these look good , just worried about quality etc .
A 4 x wheel and tyres package cost not much more than 2 gen Audi wheels :flushed:

I have them on mine. I’ve had multiple sets of bbs wheels over the years. As said really well made wheels.

Probably the nicest wheels on an A3/S3. I want them but can’t afford

BBS is a good brand and looks very good.
Be careful as there are a lot of copies/replicas out there so always get from a trusted retailer.

Are they SR's or CI-R's? I've got a set of 19" SR's on my Mk7 Golf GTI PP. The SR's are admittedly quite heavy but they do look great, especially against a white car (as above and also on my Golf).

Edit - CI-R's then. I'm on the (dire) computer system at work and it took that long to load the first image, I missed it! The SR's look incredibly similar, but are heavier!

BBS are about as good as it gets - had them on my Golf GTI and they still looked good after 18 years and 135,000 miles

BBS made (possibly still do) a lot of OEM VAG wheels. Audi just really overcharge for their wheels, for what a set of 19” V Spokes cost you could get a very nice set of BBS with tyres and still have a decent amount of change!

I wouldn’t hesistate to buy BBS if I was after a set of wheels, one of the first brands I’d look at in fact.

Aye...BBS were the original wheels on the MkII Golf Gti 16V..remember those?...I loved them...jeez look how small they look lol...I also had a set of BBS split rims..neither of these are my car...I travelled the earth for those split rims...couldn't work out why the steering was 'off' so sold them and bought some OZ alloys....then found out it was just the tracking...although did save many weekends not having to clean them. Anyway yes...the quality of BBS certainly used to be the best out there...(just taking a trip down memory lane)

Great choice, and as others have said: great quality, will fit straight on, TUV approved etc, and would be the 1st one I would look at if looking to change.

Ironically I have been toying with adding the below 20"s to my 2018 Q5, but the wife would go spare.

So going to wear out the current 19" tyres, get the 20" alloys, and then use 19"'s for winter tyres :icon thumright:

Thank you and I love these shots! It wasn't without its labor however. I clayed and polished the car that morning prior to the drive up the ridge. Navarra is certainly a high maintence color in my experience.

Just wanted to mention my CI-R set came with adapter rings to fit the Audi hubs (common for aftermarket rims). Bolt pattern is straight on of course.

Thanks for that, didn’t realise they needed adapter rings

Now that is a nice upgrade, they will seriously compliment your Q5. Better but some Bilberry Wheel Wax too.....
