Mines £1700 for the year with a £1000 Excess. I’m 20 Years old that might be to do with it on my S4 B9 Saloon.

Very lucky to have a s4 at 20! I'm 22 I paid 956 this Sunday for a 2.0tdi Quattro.

Will be looking to get a S4 very soon

Fully comp £150 pa for my 2018 Black Edition A4 B9 with 15 years NCD - that’s with Aviva and with an excess of £500 living in the Highlands. My last renewal was £190 pa for my 13 year old A4 B7 (poverty spec ). Sheer madness. Not that I’m complaining... :)

Ahhhhh. I used to pay this until my 'snafu'.

37. £580. S4 Avant (just gone).

£636 for RS4 Avant. Collision at fault two years ago.

Been lurking around here for a few weeks, so first post for me

Previous car was a 2013 A6 3.0TDI, insurance on that last year with Aviva was about £350, but they wanted over a grand for my 2018 S4 Saloon. Needless to say I'm not with them anymore. Paid £615, so it seems I'm paying a bit of a postcode premium. 40+, full no claims discount

Postcode is key.

You would think, myself and my partners insurance at our previous address were different by £50, mine being the lowest. I had a mondeo and she had a mazda 2 of the same ages. When she queried the cost she was told it was the post code that made it more expensive...

You want my honest opinion? It's an absolute racket and needs severely overhauling as an industry. Haha. It's a joke. I have no points on my license. Just under 5 years ago, however. I did. And yet I have to 'declare' points I don't actually have. So, I've served my 'morale sentence' of 3 years points on my license, a £100 fine and higher premiums. Yet, I'm still being punished.

Racket. Zero consistency too. Cowboys. Haha. I'm done.

Ask your old man to move to Inverness lol

or move insurance companies!!! Could probably save 50% at least

You won't get cheaper then that too many stupid drivers around here couple of days ago a shogun hit four cars before rolling five weeks before that a 1 series hit a tree with four dead

I pay £670 for personal and business use, 20K miles / yr . 10 yrs NCB. On street parking, though good area. S4 Avant. I could probably knock £100 off , but too darn lazy ,,,
I’m sure the biz use puts up quite a bit....

£210 fully comp plus business use. (£350 excess) 2016 2.0 TFSI Quattro, 40 years old 18 years no claims

There used to be saying here where I lived that if you left and didn't take a stone from the beach you'd come back again, that was me.

The basic quote was £320, but it went to £400.89 including business use, protected ncd and legal cover. This is with the wife as named driver and street parking at both home and work and £150 total excess. I could've got cheaper with companies I'd not heard of, but preferred a known company like Axa.

50+ with 10 years+ ncb.

I forgot that I had full business cover on the S4 included in the £380, I should probably add that in since it usually adds some to the overall premium.

It's also worth noting (in case anyone is unaware), adding your other half as a named driver will generally reduce the premium...….assuming no accidents, points etc.

That's what I've just found out. Considerable amount actually. Not to be scoffed at
