Cold start problems

Hi guys I'm back again I was off cause i was fiting my new setup .. but now im with an issue I wounder if u guys can help . Cold start problems in the morning it never starts first time changed crank sensor still same tried changing fuel same again any ideas please

Have you scanned for faults with VCDS? Also try disconnecting MAF sensor and also check temperature of CTS is reading correct with VCDS

Yes bro nothing comes up but i will try to disconnect the maf and see what happens from there cts is new ..cheers even spark plugs was changed

Might help if you gave a bit more information on the 'new setup' in case there is a hardware change contributing to the problem... can only diagnose based on assumption of a standard car...

Yes with 407bhp... will try and start it with Maf unplugged and see what happens

Just on this engine but my old engine never had this issue ... my previous engine I snapped a rod so so this one but since I fitted this one been having this problem and i have no idea what to do now ‍♂️♂️♂️♂️

So it started doing it straight after swapping the engine? but ran fine with the old engine after your hardware upgrades or was all that done when the engine was swapped?

No man we just swaped the engine everything else was and still is same I reackon it's some kind of sensor or maf it can't be the fuel man I dont think anyways

Have you had a smoke test for leaks?

Yes it was ... rods still the original ones .. And no smoke tests

Let me get this right, you’ve not upgraded the rods on the new engine that you’ve swapped everything over too? And the reason why your old engine failed was because you bent a rod?

Ahhh right, ok. So this engine is forged then. Ok. Best thing to do is scan with VCDS. Could be a multitude of things, like others have mentioned, faulty MAF, vacuum leak, etc.
