Okay so I've had my S3 about a year and I still love it, but I'm starting to get a little bored of the looks. Need to spice it up. Anyone else with black PFL s3 show me what you've done to improve the look.

I'm thinking:
  • Spacers
  • Front splitter
  • RS front grill (how expensive to get fitted? )
  • Refurbed alloys with black gloss instead of grey (still keep diamond cut)
Any other ideas?

The only thing I think they need is a small tidy front splitter to make the front a little more aggressive and deeper looking.

All I have is 10mm spacers all round, carbon mirror caps and this was on H&R springs before I switched to Eibach pro's, which are slightly higher but perfect with the longer suspension travel

By the traditional method of pulling out most of the interior, drilling holes in your lovely shiny paintwork and bolting them through as per factory!.........has it put you off lol

Haha....definitely not for the faint hearted then! How did you know were to drill etc?

When you've removed the headlining, you can see where the mounting points are. Just drill up through one for a reference point and then you can mark up both sides from the rail and drill the rest down.
It's pretty easy really if your handy with the tools

Fitting an RS grille is a very tedious job. Took a few hours for me to do (most of that time was removing the previous one from the bumper and installing the new one to the bumper).. Wouldn't recommend the Xenonz ones as my one had a few tabs on it still from moulding and it doesn't have the Audi logo.. Which I didn't recognise until after fitting somehow. Still bugs me now.

Would love an rs3 grill but yeah, no way in hell am I fitting one myself haha.

Looking for a splitter though. Just don't know if want to go for a Maxton or Rieger. One seems maybe too big and the other too subtle! Dno yet..

Think Maxton is probably the best out of the two. I get what you mean by it looks too big but I don't think it would be as noticeable in person if you have the S3/S-line body which you do. Wouldn't get it for non S-line/A3

Do you happened to have the part numbers? I’m having trouble ordering coz there’s A and B version and B is supposed to be front axle only and no idea if I should order B for front and A for rear or just A all around... thx!

I'll check on the box when I get I the garage this morning mate

Anyone had an RS grille fitted by a garage? Wondering on cost...
