My DAB has been fine for the few months ive had the car but in the last couple of days it keeps fading out for 30 seconds or so and then comes back in. Its the same on all stations, the little DAB arial icon has a line though it. Any thoughts...?

I have similar issues on the 7.
Do you have a front/rear dashcams fitted, as they are known to cause DAB signal loss?

No dash cams, its strange its just started to do it..

DAB signal in the UK is very flakey at times.

Does it always happen in the same road/place? There is a road l use, and I know exactly where the signal will drop out. Very annoying.

You can enable your MMI to drop to FM if the DAB is lost - I can’t remembeer where in the menu it is, but have a look under the radio settings. It’s called auto follow, or auto frequency - something like that.

Personally I think the DAB sensitivity on the Audi’s is a bit rubbish, and there is no way to adjust (that I’ve found). I can have no DAB signal on MMI, and my portable radio, inside the car is fine :wtf:

Good info mate, the drop out is as far as i can see is completely random. It used to do it on and off but its much more frequent now. Ill have a look at the future you mentioned. Thanks....
