Just a quick thread showing you the before and after of fitting an RS4 grille and cupra splitter to my S4!

I got the grille re-sprayed gloss black, and because I couldnt find the correct fitting reg plate holder i got that wrapped gloss black to suit..

I also bought an OEM S4 badge to put on the RS4, came out looking sweet! While I had to bumper off I changed the HIDs to a brighter white, no chance of changing them with bumper on!

What do you guys think?

looks excellent chap , and i don't care what anyone else says, the rs4 grille should have been an option for all the B7 range......it looks so much better than than the rest, makes the front end look so much better .
Good work chap.

I do agree with you Rob but at the same time seeing a B7 with an RS4 grille fitted you know that the owner has put abit of effort in to make it look good! Makes us stand out :icon thumright:

did you disconnect the headlamp washers or just leave it all alone and just move the bumper to one side.....

Just moved it to the side, wasnt in the way and only had to remove a dozen screws! Dont worry I was very careful not to scratch it!!

Just curious really as thats just what i do, and i've had my front bumper more times than i can remember now.
I found that the pipework joints and fittings can be a tad problematic if they are disturbed and then leak all the time, so just dont touch them and move the bumper to one side.

last time round i fitted a pair of new bumper supports to make height adjustment easier as the originals had seized up .
did you get the grille new then chap.

Well that was my exact thought Rob, felt no need to remove them for that reason!

And no I didnt get the grille new it was used, wasnt in bad condition though, I actually fitted it to my old diesel A4 and removed it when I swapped to my S4!

But I recently had it sprayed gloss black.. i hated the ABS colour!

Looking good!

Is it possible to lose the number plate holder completely and have all mesh in the bumper and then have the number plate made up as a sticker and stuck on the side of the bumper below the headlight? (maybe a bit of cutting of the sticker around the headlight washer needed)

From my experience id say its possible but youd need an aftermarket RS4 grille, the orignal grilles come factory with the reg plate mounts, only thing you could do with a grille like mine is buy a blanking plate, it wouldn't be all mesh though.

And again from experience, ifcl you have an s line model, you will be very lucky to find an aftermarket RS4 grille to fit!
