Has anyone uprated both anti roll bars on their Pfl S3.I have tried to buy the Superpro 22in rear but everywhere is out of stock and they won't be available until September maybe even October. So I am now thinking of doing both, probably Eibach or H&R.
Just wondering whether it upsets the front end if you do the front one as well.Have heard differing opinions on this.Any help views or ideas greatly appreciated.

I replaced by rear bar with a 034 Motorsport unit, including the 034 links. The bar noticeably reduced the understeer and did improve the handling both on the street and track. The bar is designed to work with the standard front bar. I just attached their blurb below. I'm happy with the upgrade

034Motorsport is proud to offer the ultimate rear swaybar upgrade for the MkVII Volkswagen Golf R, 8V Audi A3/S3 Quattro & MkIII Audi TT/TTS! The 034Motorsport Adjustable Solid Rear Sway Bar is made from a single piece of high-quality, 22.2mm thick spring steel for maximum rigidity, and is designed to combat understeer while reducing body roll under hard cornering.

This product was tested thoroughly on the street and track on 034Motorsport’s 2016 Audi S3 Development Vehicle and multiple enthusiast-owned MQB Audi/Volkswagen vehicles before release. The 034Motorsport Adjustable Solid Rear Sway Bar substantially reduces understeer and body roll on 8V Audi A3/S3 Quattro, MkIII Audi TT/TTS Quattro & MkVII Volkswagen Golf R vehicles without compromising comfort on the street.

In addition, the 034Motorsport MQB Rear Sway Bar is engineered to be used effectively with the stock front sway bar. No upgrade in the front is required. The addition of a stiffer front bar can positively affect turn-in feel, but ultimately worsens the platform’s tendency to understeer. With the stock front sway bar and upgraded 034Motorsport Solid Rear Sway Bar, body roll is virtually eliminated while turn in and off throttle oversteer are greatly improved.

As above I have the same 034 motorsport rear bar installed.
The fronts are more tricky to install so just doing the rear made the 034 more attractive to me.

Which setting did you settle on?
I'm on the softer setting atm but thinking of going into the harder one.

I am as well, just need to get under the car and adjust ! - the car feels fairly neutral at the moment, so interested to see what the difference is..

Just out of interest are you guys running these arbs on standard shocks and springs?
Just been on a road trip with the car on some of the best roads in Scotland. I found the car had a slight tendency to understeer and as the miles have been pounded on I found the bounciness on uneven roads everyone moans about seems to have settled and towards the end of the trip I didn’t even notice it. Previous experience with other cars new shocks/springs needs to settle before they are at their best. Cars only on just under 1000 miles so hoping it will settle a bit more.

I'm running standard non-mag S3 suspension, the bounciness I found, is on rebound after certain types of ruts, on certain types of our aussie country roads, typically the narrower less used roads. On the smoother faster country roads, it is not an issue, the change to Bridgestone RE003 tires has also greatly improved the handling feel.

I agree the tyres makes or breaks a car.
I’m not that happy with the Pirelli p zeros on my car. Road noise on even silky smooth roads is quite loud. The tyres need worked hard to get up to temperature before the grip is really good but once warmed up they are very good but takes a while to get there. Definitely not as good as the Michelin’s PS3 or Goodyear asy that I had on other cars.

I have H&R rear sway, I ordered from BKS a while back at a great deal, it was like US$220 or so shipped to me from Germany... I wouldn’t do front sway since it’ll basically off set the rear sway understeer correction, but if you really want to, you should do the surframe locking collars as well while the surframe is removed... And dog bone mount is a great cheap mod too...

I'm on magride suspension with Eibach pro springs.
The car does feel planted when set to dynamic but does still feel a little understeary and soft in comfort mode.
I think I'll be trying the harder setting when I get around to it.
I'm also on Goodyear eagle F1's which are still a great tyre even now

When I fitted the RS4 rear anti roll bar to my old A4 B7, I had to have the suspension loaded when fitting the new anti roll bar, i.e. put the car on drive on ramps. Is this the case for 8v when fitting the rear anti roll bar or can it be done on axle stands?

Also, would you recommend changing the drop links? My car is a 2017 S3 Sportback with 30k miles
