Can anyone suggest some tyre pressures for me. I'm running 255/35/19 on a 2009 2.0tfsi quattro with the sports suspension. I've got them quite high at the moment for economy but am noticing the front tyres scrubbing at low speeds so wondered if anyone has experience with tyre pressures and cam recommend some good settings for a decent mix of driving.
Thanks in advance.

Are you not using the pressures written on sticker in the driver door for any particular reason?
Mine recommends 38psi up front and 32 (think) on the back, but it has a heavy 3.0 v6 not a 2.0.
I used to run 35 in the winter all around, and 32psi in the summer all around on my 2.0tdi. Not sure if that helps atall.
Are you scrubbing because you are lowered/different wheels?

No particular reason. I've always found previously with other car companies that their recommended pressures are either way too hard (for economy) or way too low so just wondered if anyone had any experience. I've kind of gone by the stickers today but gone somewhere in the middle which actually only turned out to be dropping all tyres by 1psi but it's made a huge difference immediately.

From my own experience the a5/a4 b8 models mpg takes a knock when the tyres go below the minimum pressure states on the door

Yeah I was running at the highest suggested pressure suggested on the door sticker but just felt the front tyres were scrubbing across the road at low speed. I've dropped them 1psi all around and that fixed the problem instantly car has much more bite straight away with no other changes but mpg has indeed dropped like crazy. Mad what a difference such a small change can make!
