l rarely ever start a thread on this forum...never get the urge to but Autoglym's new Snow Foam Polar Blast has really really angered me.
Avoid Avoid its dreadful stuff for the reasons l will state
1.Terrible cleaning power....it made no difference at to 2 the cars l applied to
2.lt doesnt fall off your car it stays as it lays....time consuming to remove not just from the car but from your driveway as well....it was there hours later
3.lts expensive £17 for 2-5 litres aka £34 for 5 litres, thats more expensive than Valet Pro Advance Snow Foam...which in my opinion is the best snow foam l have ever used.
I COULD GO ON AND ON.....but trust me its best avoided guys.... The bottom photo was taken nearly 3 hours after l rinsed my carDSC 04962

Glad you left a review. My BH Snowfoam is about to finish and I was thinking of what next. Going to order Valet Pro as I have used it only once before. Took me some time to go through the 5-ltr BH that I bought.

Yeah not only did l get ****** off with the snow foam but also my 2 month old K4.....Went duff it kept on spitting the gun hose out of the fitment...ended up taking it back to Halfords and 40 mins later they changed it over for a new one...which has a metal hose fitment instead of a plastic one now....the hose fitment that broke.....and the new yin is slightly less powerful.............maybe a Kranzle next....lol

Like bringing a kalashnikov to a knife fight mate, l would never pay £700 for a pressure washer to clean my car

£7 ****** hundred. ***! That's a lot of money. One can buy 4.5 K4s or 20.6 Hozelock 2-1 25M reels.

Thanks for the review. I think a lot of snow foams are aimed at creating a wow appearance. If you think about it the only bit of the foam that can clean is that in contact with the panel. All those pictures people post on the net of a shaving foam covered car are of a lot of foam doing nothing........ other than needing to be washed off your drive.

It is surprising that the Autoglym didn't work well as most of their products are pretty effective, there may be better or easier to use alternatives but generally they do what they say on the tin.

You may want to share your feedback with Autoglym as I believe they are pretty responsive to customer contact

I was also going to say send your comments to Autoglym as they are always looking for feedback.

Ones l looked at where £600/700 upright trolley type pretty robust looking l must say but say, but a Kranzle "Carlsberg" pressure washer ain't going to improve yer paint quality/finish if they did l would have one mate

I liked this one, as it is what @FranA3 uses, and is SO compact and quiet. My K4 has a reel, but I do find it a bit of a PITA to be honest, but not so much that I would change...yet

You are spot on that it won't clean your paint any better. I guess if you are a pro then you need the reliability etc. However isn't like anything else consumer related in that it's something we want rather than something we need. Taking it down a notch does anyone on here NEED another wax, sealant, shampoo and so on ??? I bet it doesn't stop us wanting it though if you see a good review with lots of shiny cars though! !!!

I have learnt my lesson with waxes and probably with every other product l have purchase especially the disposable type ie drying aids, QD's etc etc
But I've bought 4 polishing machines in the last 8 months though lol just need to buy my last one to make up my treble Flex kit but they are keepers

Is the 3rd one cordless by any chance? Or a rotary?

So given you have obviously tried many more products than most of us on here. What have you settled on as your go to

Shampoo
Compound(s)
LSP
QD

Shampoo = Gyeon bathe
Compounds = Anything from the Scholl Concepts range or the Sonax Profiline range
LSP= Not got a go too product but if pushed, it would be R222 or Fireball fusion wax. Both leave a superb gloss finish.
Quick detailer = Done & Dusted or Gyeon Cure but to be honest there's a few guys on here that buy a lot of them quick detailers etc etc l don't l am more into the Machine polishing side of detailing now, going to start experimenting with pads and different compounds rather than QD's. . lsp...
Best Ceramic coating = Gyeon Syncro kit. . Stunning finish it actually leaves that much of a glossy finish you'd think it was fake if photographed and posted on here beading is just on another planet nothing comes close to it but its very time consuming as there needs to be at least 3 coats of it applied 2Mohs+and at least 1 good coat of skin
