Facelift Aircon fault...

Aircon decided to go on strike today

Anyway when I got in I scanned the car and had a high pressure sensor fault (no signal)

Cleared the fault, no joy....

Unplugged the sensor to see if the fault nature changed, still exactly same fault

Conclusion

New sensor required part number 4H0959126B.

Will get one tomorrow and fit.

Ain't going into Audi...…..sensor is cheap enough and there's a Schrader valve behind it so refrigerant cannot escape.

Got mine back yesterday and it was a loose or poor connection apparently.

Dodgy wiring.....

Had the air con re-gassed also

460g extracted and the correct 530g put back in.

Turns out it wasn't......

The wiring issue made it look like it was.

The High pressure sensor is well known for failing on Audi's though.

Wierd as my car had exactly the same issue. Common fault????
